No, he's not on the block.

and just FYI if this is because we're interested in Barry doesnt mean we're willing to trade Green to get him. Barry isnt worth a young player especially at this point of his career, he could probably be had for a 2nd rounder or really late 1st.

With that said, lookin at Houstons roster they have alot of hard working team players, but they also would likely be too old once OKC starts making their playoff runs, your young guys (brooks, Ariza, etc) would likely

A. take a position that we already have filled long term

B. wont mesh with the team well

or

C. Brings something to the table we already have

In conclusion OKC and Houston really arent great trading partners right now.

I would not trade a draft pick for Brent Barry.. he's more or less relegated to spot up shooting these days and though he's good at it, I don't see him playing enough at his age to really make an impact.

IMO, any player is tradeable if a better opportunity and deal comes.

Of course, and I think that's where the Thunder are with Green. They shouldn't be actively looking to trade him, but you've gotta keep your eyes open.

Barry is hardly worth giving the vet minimum to at this point. I like the guy, but he just shouldn't be playing many minutes anywhere. We've already got Ollie around to be a vet guard on the bench.
