The OKC Thunder and Memphis Grizzlies have agreed to the following:

Memphis will send:

Tyrus Thomas: 4,743,598
2010 First Round Pick (Memphis) Chicago has right to swap*
2011 First Round Pick (Memphis)

for

Jeff Green - 3,516,960

Deal works due to OKC being under the cap

We hate to lose two 1st round picks, but the thought of acquiring a talent such as Green was too good to pass up. Green should be a great fit next to Gay and Rose.

OKC accepts. Tbh, I'm just bored. We get some nice pieces to work with, and I do like Tyrus.

New Orleans accepts. We wanted to bring in a couple of young players, in this trade we get Beasley who we think will we a very good fit in New Orleans. We also wanted to cut some future salary and we do that by moving West, MoPete, and Posey.

Miami happily accepts.

My plan now is opposed to Pat Riley's - I won't wait for 2010 and put talent NOW and win NOW, always my goal in GM Games, I dont care about whether im in the lux tax and that I don't have expirings as I want a quick turnaround. Letting go of Beasley (talented, has alot of room to grow) and expirings is tough, but forunately, we're getting a 20-10 guy who is known to be a great post-up player in D.West, who should fit in with Wade nicely, we get James Posey, who's a stud defender and a proven champion, Mo-Pete, a decent guy off the bench and promising players in Thornton and Diogu.

We also love jackson as the 6th man and Turaif as our hutsle guy of the bench. Ellis, Kobe, Artest, Odom, Gasol with Jackson as the 6th man is just so rediculous we couldnt pass this deal up..... plus we lose sasha in this deal. Kobe and Phil will be able to keep Jackson head on str8 and he will flourish as our 6th man. While ellis is not the perfect triangle PG, he is a good upgrade over fisher.

and

Golden State please add Team Salary for 2010/11 both with and w/o options

I didn't notice that yesterday and will not hold up LA since I made him take care of his already and I hadn't noticed that 1 year missing from GSW at that time.

BTW LA you only need the 2 years not the 3 so if you want to do slightly less math you can remove 2011/12 team salary. :D

Bulls accept. We're glad to be able to dump Garcia's contract, and we weren't planning on resigning Miller this offseason anyway. We also like the potential of Mason and Barea.

EDIT: If we have to wait on this deal to be approved due to Mason just being acquired by the Mavs, that's fine.

Why? GS gets out of Maggette's long term deal and gets instant salary relief from waving Buckner. Carroll can play as a spot up shooter off the bench, but most importantly his contract is much smaller than Maggette's. This also opens up a lot of SF and PF minutes for Randolph and Wright

Zach Randolph and Salmons don't fit into our future plans, so we decided to save some money in this deal. Hopefully Tmac can contribute in the future, but if not..oh well.

The Dallas Mavericks and the Philadelphia 76ers have agreed on a deal.

Dallas will send:
Francisco Garcia
Lindsey Hunter

Philadelphia will send:
Jason Kapono
2011 Philly's 2nd Round Pick

Dallas does it to get rid of Garcia's contract since he wasn't going to get much playing time anyways. Kapono will bring shooting needed to open the floor.

EDIT: Ok So we have to wait at least another fefw day before it's actually allowed. Hunter was part of the deal i just forgot to add him. Then was going to fix it but my mouse went haywire. So i went to buy one and now im here.

getting confused her. I though one of the new rules to this game was that traded for players can not be retraded for 48 hours. Garcia has now been traded 3 times in less then 24 hours? are we following the rules or not?

Sacramento and Toronto Have a Deal to Announce

Sacramento Trades
Kevin Martin $9,680,170
Beno Udrih $6,031,800
$15,711,970

for

Toronto Trades
DeMar Derozan $2,282,640
Reggie Evans $4,960,000
Marcus Banks $4,553,793
Marco Belinelli $1,547,640
$13,344,073

while we were not happy at all with the departure of Kevin Martin and the possibility that we have now stacked the Toronto team, moving udrih so that Tyreke Evans could be the #1 pg was the goal for this offseason while acquiring a very young atheltic player in DeRozan along with Belinieli, we take back Banks which was a must since Udrih has such a bad contract. we feel that Evans ball grabbing capabilities will be great to help out in times of need. The deal instantly saves me of 44 million in salary commitments also. A trade exception of $2,367,897 is also created for me in this trade.

lol u knew the Evans ball-grabbing reference was going to be involved somehow. Raptors accept. We couldn't pass up the opportunity to improve this club NOW and solidify the core for years to come. The strong get stronger, Colangelo went out and improved the Raptors strengths (deadly shooting, ball movement, passing), rather than trying to start from scratch with better defensive players. With Martin, we're now one of the most dangerous teams in the league offensively. Udrih's contract sucks, but he's more productive than Banks by a mile. We wish DeRozan and Belinelli the best for the future, but this is the time for Chris Bosh to be surrounded by players of high talent and compete for an NBA Championship. Chris Bosh belongs in Toronto and this deal sends a huge message to him.

I missed the 2nd Garcia deal, my bad. This Garcia deal will be on hold just like the Tyrus Thomas deal until 48 hours have elapsed after the 12 hour standard wait time.

It would be preferable if GMs would refrain from even posting trades that involve one of these players. If it gets too crazy I will just start 'not approving trade' and ask for it to be reposted at the proper time.

As a matter of fact that is what I will start doing from here on out to keep the confusion to a minimum. If any GM sees a player in a trade that does not meet the requirements feel free to drop me an email.

Trade between Detroit Pistons and San Antonio Spurs

Chris Wilcox $3,000,000
Kwame Brown $4,000,000
Richard Hamilton $11,375,000

for

Manu Ginobli $10,728,130
Antonio Mcdyess $4,500,000
George Hill $1,081,680
2012 Spurs unprotected

Salaries = San Antonio outgoing = $16,309,810
Detroit outgoing = $18,375,000

Detroit Pistons accept this deal. We pick up a young player in Hill and replace rip with Manu. Although Manu is injury-prone, we still take the risk. We lose frontcourt depth, and will work to get some reinforcements.
