I give it up to Kedrick Brown for sticking with basketball. At this point I would rather quit, but he has a stronger mentality than me.

No, he would have to be on our 15 man roster for us to bring him up. He's property of the Red Claws and any team in the NBA could sign him at will.

Basketball's really all he probably knows though. He could make his measly $20K playing in the NBDL or busting his ass laying bricks. While you have it in you, you might as well go for the former. Not sure why guys like him don't try to play over in Europe though. Maybe no one's interested, but if Allan Ray could get a million dollar contract overseas, I don't see why Kedrick couldn't. I figure some guys stay in the NBDL to try to get a ten day contract and a chance at the NBA at any given point, but that's just not happening for Kedrick.

Sorry to be THAT guy, but Brown is already signed in Turkey for next season.

I thought he was playing in the D League or some independent league last year. Maybe both? Dunno, whatevs.

BTW, how do you manage to even get all your news on what obscure players are doing now? I figure you might get more tidbits on European players from news in the UK, but is there any specific way?

Google News helps a lot. And being from the UK is absolutely no help whatsoever because basketball over here is about as popular as extreme ironing.

Ah, I thought that if you got any basketball related news that it wouldn't be as diluted with just NBA related stories.

If the C's end up blowing it up in a couple years and start rebuilding I'd like to see them bring in Gerald and Kedrick, just because.
And Kedrick played for Anaheim last year, I think.

only if they bring 'toine back as coach...maybe even player/coach

the celtics need to break ML Carr's 1996-1997 15 win record.

a rebuilding 2013 celtics led by a Kedrick-Gerald-'Toine big three could do this

Return to Boston Celtics
