The Bulls and Hornets have come to agreement on a deal:

Bulls accept. It was hard to give up two first round picks, but we feel it was worth to get it Beasley and open up even more cap room for the summer of 2010.

NOH accepts, we liked Beasley but the potential of this trade is too good to pass up. The past year Sacramento and Memphis were near the bottom of the league so we think that we may end up with 2 lottery picks for Beasley. We also get a quality player in Hinrich and Mason.

Bobcats accept because we get younger, dump Diop's contract, and get 2010 cap space (about 7 million). We will also have 18 million off the books in 2011.

Miami happily accepts. We take on Gerald Wallace's bad contract, but we feel that for this price, we shouldn't pass on him up, and as I've said, I don't care about expirings smeshirings, I only care to win NOW. That's my goal before, that's my goal now and that will be my goal for the rest of the game. Adding Wallace and Diop does harm our financial standpoint, but upgrades our talent in becoming contenders.

Portland Trail Blazers General Manager has announced that he has comes to terms on a blockbuster trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves. In the 8-player trade, the Blazers will acquire the hometown kid Kevin Love, along with rookie Jonny Flynn, veteran small forward Ryan Gomes, and reserve big man Ryan Hollins. In return, the Blazers will send to the Timberwolves former number one overall pick Greg Oden, along with small forward Travis Outlaw, and young guards Rudy Fernandez and Jerryd Bayless.

Portland is very high on both Jonny Flynn and Kevin Love. GM klomp44 said in his Tuesday afternoon press conference that he feels both players will fit well with the direction he wants to go in Portland. In addition, Gomes is an upgrade over Outlaw, and he feels that Hollins has loads of untapped potential.

Sorry, I have been away and haven't gotten much internet access. I still won't be having much access until Tuesday/Wednesday I am wondering what is wrong with my roster? I have at least 2 years and player options/team options listed..

The Knicks send Jared Jeffries ($6,466,600), Larry Hughes ($13,655,268), New York's 2010 and Danilo Gallinari ($3,089,040) in exchange for Emeka Okafor ($10,647,500), Peja Stojakovic ($13,392,000), and Devin Brown ($1,107,572).

The Knicks accept, we're bored, in the need of a shakeup to give us more to do. Here we take on Peja's contract which hurts our capspace tremendously, but again, we're not banking on capspace since no FA would sign without an established core in place. I can worry more about getting under the cap once I get that core I'm satisfied with, and feel Okafor is a step in the right direction. Defensive big man are a rarity, and Okafor gives us one of the better, and younger ones in the league, allowing us flexibility among the big man position with the likes of Hill, Okafor, and Lee upfront.

New Orleans accepts. We really like Okafor and weren't go to trade him, but we feel that Gallinari will be something special. Also we get out of Peja's big deal which is a huge bonus for us as well.

Nothing major, just need the team salary w/o options so GMs can glance through rosters and get an easy idea how much cap space may be possible for each team.

FWIW - the 48 hour rule is for my benefit in order to keep rosters updated on my end.

Once everyone gets in the habit of updating their roster quickly, I will drop that rule.

OKC accepts. I have some high hopes for Jordan Hill's future, and as a PF will have a greater impact in the league, and for this team than Tyrus will. Having to extend Tyrus' deal in the summer could have also become an issue with us. With little concern on 2010 Free Agency moves, stockpiling useful pieces for the future in 1sts and prospects is important, and we achieve both here.

Maybe we should reduce the day total to 24 hours after one player is traded, because I think that trade might have got lost in the shuffle because of this new rule. It's a better "medium," between not having it at all, and having to wait two days. I'd prefer not having it all though, it's not really stopping the trades since most of us would just post it being contingent on the previous deal.

Knicks accept, itchy to make a deal, and here we acquire one of the more underrated PG's in the game on a decent contract. I don't want to bank on cap-space to land me a miracle, so trying to acquire and retain as much talent as we can is crucial in the beginning of the game. Besides, we still have more than enough capspace for the 2010 season, despite the contract differential. Watson is also a solid backup, and had a nice run to finish off last season.
