It is clearly Roy for me. Roy's rank for this year is around 15'ish whereas JJ's rank is somehwere between 25-30. JJ hit more 3's and averaged 0.7 assists more however Roy's fg% is significantly much higher than JJ(48% vs. 43.7%) plus he averages less turnovers (0.6 turnovers less) so that gives him a healthy edge over JJ

I prefer Joe Johnson this year. Due to the addition of Crawford, I expect Johnson's points to go down a bit this year, but see his FG% rising to about 46-47%. His threes really give him the edge in my book.

Roy is great too, but with the addition of Miller, I expect to see his assists drop.

However, I've always been a JJ guy.

Roy is the better player, crawford is going to hurt JJ in every cat minus TO's. And Roy was already the better player. Unless your looking for major 3's roy is your boy.

Also Roy's fantasy game is still developing. What an exciting time to be a GM!

on further inspection though, there lines from last year aren't terribly differant. Roy having slight edges in FTM, FG% appear to be the only real advantages. I think his potential is what really makes him more desirable than JJ..

The upside alone makes this an easy pick in favor of Roy.

Johnson has his peaks and troughs, Crawford won't help him anymore, and has peaked stats-wise IMO.

Roy OTOH is younger, already better than JJ, and establishing himself as one of the league's top 2-guards.

You'd be crazy to take JJ over Roy this year. If you really like JJ, draft Roy then wait a round and grab JJ, he'll still be there.
