Padres at Giants

Post#1 » by Stanford » Mon Sep 7, 2009 5:32 pm

This is a must sweep, no doubt about it. Rockies are playing the Reds at home.

Richard v Penny
Correia v Lincecum
LeBlanc v Zito

Keys to the series:
Don't let Bochy manage
Play Posey

Oh how I wish the Giants could play at home every game. 6-0.

I'm reading on other boards that Bum may start tonight over Tim citing back pain.

ffs, Bengie is catching. The guy has never caught Bumgarner in his life. Why Bochy, why.

Half of the reason why I was excited to see Bumgarner pitch was to see Posey catch. Melonhead, you are an idiot.

First hit allowed was a home run...welcome to the big leagues, Bum.

Cubs fans have had the same feeling about both the Rockies and the Cardinals this year, we win they win, we lose they win.

I assume he'll be pulled after this. He made some good pitches, struck out four, left a couple up. Not a whole lot you can take from this overall. At least he knew what he was doing wrong when he did make some mistakes.

Brandon Phillips killed me in fantasy last week and of course, sucks when I actually want him to hit.

We're officially not allowed to complain about the Rockies schedule anymore.

AHHHH! The Rockies won AGAIN. On a walk off single too...I hate the Reds. Oh well.. Even if we had won today and yesterday, the Rockies are on a mission. They won't lose...I hate Jim Tracy even more now.

So who's gonna make the first offseason post? :(

Dusty Baker really sucks, in case you hadn't noticed already. Nobody loses to Reds. Put in a phone call to Bud Selig, say you're the government and offer complete steroid immunity or some kind of an awesome, if Rockies have to play Angels at Anaheim, Yankees at NY, Boston at Boston, and Phillies at Philly against Lee, Lackey, Sabathia, Burnett, Weaver, Kazmir, Santana, Beckett, Lester, Wakefield, Hamels, Happ.

What the one game where Stubbs beat you up? Know the feeling, the man with no name kicking ass and taking names against you guys, happens to my Cubs all the time. Since then almost of all their major players not named Cordero, Arroyo, Phillips, and Votto have gone on DL.
