Bassy was traded to the Clippers, Lawson was traded to the Nuggets, Brown was traded in the Daniels deal (which was a financial one, not a talent acquisition) and Atkins is most likely going to be moved. That leaves the Wolves with 3 PGs if Sessions isn't matched.

Seems like it. Though, he didn't really have much to work with after McHale f'd that place up. He passed on Mayo to clear a little cap space...Big Al must hate him for taking away a 20 ppg running mate for the next decade.

He needs to give Flynn some serious mins this year. He has the chance to be very special. Sessions does as well, but I think Flynn is the better overall player.

Imagine this line up

Flynn
Mayo
Brewer
Jefferson

Damn that's good with Gomes coming off the bench.

Trading for Antonio Daniels is a salary dump more than anything. He shaves about four and a half million off the cap for the Wolves next year. He can play the 2 as well, something that the Wolves need pretty badly. All in all, I've been really impressed with how Kahn is running the Wolves.

That wraps it up nicely.

Pay attention fellas, Kahn moves fast.

I think Love's a good player and thought/still think he's the 4th best player out of that draft, but I still just don't understand why the hell McHale made that move. They were seriously lacking on playmaking on the perimeter and set as far as solid post and rebounding power forwards go, so they traded a dearth for a strength. Mayo and Al would have been such an amazing one two combination on offense for the next decade, especially when you consider what they could get for Foye (maybe less without Miller, maybe Jordan Hill in the draft to at least give them an athletic center to build next to Al) and that they'd have Brewer covering up a lot of defensive short comings.

Flynn
Mayo
Brewer
Jefferson
Hill
Bench: Gomes, Smith, some else

That's a team that could start making the playoffs in a year.

As for the PG fetish, nothing wrong with having some shorty love.

Love is a stud bigman and Mayo is a volume shooter. Might as well be comparing Wes Unseld to Flip Murray

Did anyone compare the two? I just said that Mayo is the much better fit, which he is. Ironically, Love would've been the better fit in Memphis.

And don't blindfully support your players. Love is a good role-player at this point, Al is your stud big man. I like how OJ Mayo is the volume shooter when Love only shoots 2.1% better than him. Love has terrible percentages for a big man. I'd imagine Mayo would be more efficient with a low post big drawing pressure inside than Rudy Gay forcing shots on the perimeter.
