Cowboys = last year's Bears

Less defense more offense. Of course, I'm talking more about their starts to the season.

Discuss.

Good team that will struggle against great defenses. There defense is also nothing special.

There getting bailed out week in and week out by playing crappy teams.

Definetly not the clear cut best in the NFC like there fans were boasting.

I think they're much better than the Bears. But I think they'll suffer the same fate.

Keep in mind that last year's Bears came out the same way. 4 of the first 5 games were blowouts. (26-0, 34-7, 37-6, 40-7) including one against the NFC champions of the previous year on Sunday night. (Bears beat Seahawks 37-6, Cowboys beat Bears 34-10)
Both started young gunslinging QBs who started off hot. (Grossman 10 TDs 3 INTs through 5 games, Romo 11 TDs 3 INTs through 4 games)
After the first few games, a monday night game vs a terrible defense, both as heavy favorites. Through most of the game it looks like an upset. However after a crazy game the favorites win, despite bad games from the QBs. (2 TDs 5 INTs, 0 TDs 4 INTs) (Although Romo through a couple TDs and was able to lead them back down the field.)

No, I expect Romo to have a good long career. He will definitely go through some more ups and downs but his downs won't be as low as Grossman's downs and his ups will be higher then Grossman's ups.

Says the Washington fan. Skins struggled to beat arguably the worst team in the NFL, had a modest game against a bad Eagles team and were beat by an average Giants team. They dominated the Lions, but, yeah, not much of an accomplishment.

and I don't talk up the Redskins as the clear cut best team in the NFC or the next great thing. The Redskins are a good team. Great defense, average offense.

That is why I said the Cowboys aren't a clear cut best team in the NFC. Its up for grabs. The Cowboys aren't as good as they were being hyped up for.

Up to this point they were clearly the best team in the NFC. The Packers lost this week but then the Cowboys almost lose to a much worse team, but still pull out a win.

You're right in the fact that no one is the clear cut #1. The top teams have shown that they are beatable by teams that aren't top teams. I think they'll still pull out the top seed in the NFC like the Bears did last season though.

5-0 is 5-0.

Which is what I'm saying. They are a good team, but easily beatable by the other good teams of the NFC.

I don't know about that.

The team you saw today is not the same team that played the previous few weeks. If Romo can avoid having 1.3 and 0.0 ratings, I don't think you can say any team can "easily" beat them.

They will lose to the Patriots next week, but will bounce back nicely in week 7 vs the Vikings.

Cowboys are in a class by themselves in the NFC yea yea we barely beat the bills but we had 6 FREAKIN TURNOVERS!!! and still won the game only great teams do that and i guarantee you thats the worst you will ever see Romo play

I don't care who you are or who you're facing. No team is easy to beat on the road in their house (except for the Denver Broncos)...Buffalo was hyped tonight after a long MNF drought and we came up on top. We've also won in Miami and in Chicago. A road win is a road win, period. Was it ugly today? Of course. But we have to look ahead and take the positives out of this game. Romo played about as bad as any QB can, and we still managed to win. Also, for the second straight week, our defense didn't allow a TD.

No, great teams do not throw for 5 INTs and let the QB turn the ball over 6 times.
It's just the ineptitude of Dick Jauron that led to the Bills' loss.

Though I do agree that Dallas is still the best team in the NFC.
