I think Oregon St/UNLV in the late game of the day will be pretty interesting. Both started the season with virtual scrimmage games and Rebs are certainly going to be looking to do everything possible to keep the Mountain West respectable against the Pac...especially on their own turf. The Beavs are favored by 6 1/2, but I look for a tougher battle.

UW may actually have a shot at ending their losing streak at 15 today with Idaho coming into town. If they don't win, the program should be disbanded (and begin 20+ point favorites they would have to really screw up to lose).

Even though Purdue is going into going into Autzen, which is one of the most difficult places to play in as a visiting team, I think they will perform far better than their 14pt underdog status predicts. The Ducks are in the process of total meltdown and have a lot of vulnerabilities. They are poised to let their egos spark a chain reaction implosion. Purdue may have the match.

I think USC is also primed to get exposed as being overrated this season. I have no real love for the Buckeyes, but they should take this matchup.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

Early day thoughts:
--Wisconsin is the worst tackling big-school team around. Fresno's freshman RB is a good one.
--Florida is overlooking Troy and Troy isn't backing down. If Troy had any sort of OL they could pull the shocker, but they don't.
--Penn State has 1st & goal from inside the 5 on two separate drives and gets 0 points.
--Dan Lefevour is not the same guy he was 2 years ago. His NFL star is falling quickly.

Last night Toledo crushed Colorado 54-38, but it was 30-3 halfway thru the 3rd. Last week I was in the press box as Big Ten lowlife Purdue rocked Toledo 52-31 in another score that was closer than the game itself. Purude is no better than the 8th best team in the Big Ten; Colorado is probably the 8th best team in the Big 12. Tell me which conference is better. The top of the Big 12 (Texas, the OK schools) is clearly greater but below the top 3 it's favoring the Big 10.
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game

I've never been so excited to watch a ND-Michigan game. I hate both of these schools, but I'm really amped for some reason.

oklahoma state vs. houston coming up, should be a good game hope we can continue on dominating defensively and hold them to around 21 points (houston's offense is really good)

crazy ending to that central michigan/michigan state game. central goes for 2 on the road for the win and misses it (i thought it was dumb since their qb is the best player on the field, at least from what i know) but then they try the onside kick and it takes this wicked bounce over the state players and into the hands of centra mich.

then they get into fg range and misses it but michigan state is offside, and wow that field goal that made it was only good by inches

Glad Oklahoma State was brought back down to earth sooner rather than later. The Georgia win was severely overblown.

Charlie Weis needs fired now. The experiment is over.

That game was epic. I just stayed up until 1:30 in Germany to watch it. I could barely deal with the stress of sitting on my couch, and Tate Forcier acts like it is nothing. He must have ice in his veins.

Practically the entire Badger's team is recovering from the flu. Even so, their secondary doesn't tackle very well, but I find it difficult to believe they're the worst tackling big-school team when they're healthy.

That dude is way too cocky for a true freshman. He kept saying that he never gets nervous, that it's just not in him. I really want to see what his nerves are like when Penn St. or Ohio St. comes to town.
