Orlando and Indiana have announced a trade

Indiana has sent
Troy Murphy -- $11,047,619
Jason Smith -- $ 1,418,880

for

B.Miller --- $12,250,000
Arroyo -- $ 825,497
Pops Mensu-Bonsu -- $ 825,497
2010 LAC 2nd (Denver can swap)
2010 Miami 2nd
2011 Orlando 1st
2013 LaLakers 1st

Orlando does this because we love the idea of having the 2 top rebounders in the NBA together on the same thing. Troy's range (45% from 3pt) and toughness are exactly what I was looking for plus I think he is a perfect compliment to Dwight. Jason Smith is a guy (with similar skills as Murphy) that I really like and am 100% positive he is 100% healthy and ready to have a great season, he was worth having to add my late 2011 1st to get added to the deal.

plus the deal now gets us down to the roster max so we don't need to eat any salary

Kris Humphries $2,900,000 -- $3,200,000

Dallas accepts because they improve their team overall and also get rid of Maggette's horrible contract. Also are sad to see Gortat go, he was a favorite of mine but in exchange for Okur i can't turn that down. I also like how my team would look after the trade.

Still looking to get rid of Jaric for whatever though?

Utah accepts. I didn't like Okur's extension, and do this trade to get younger, improve our interior defense, and save some money. And, to make approving the trade easier, here are the salary figures for each team:

Dallas out - Maggette, Gortat, Humphries, Thornton - $18.2M
Dallas in - Crawford, Okur - $18.4M

Atlanta out - Crawford - $9.4M
Atlanta in - Maggette, Fesenko, Thornton - $10.3M

Utah out - Okur, Fesenko - $9.9M
Utah in - Gortat, Humphries - $8.8M

It is now this:

Dallas Trades:
Corey Maggette $8,937,931 -- $9,600,000 -- $10,262,069 -- $10,924,138

Dalas does it to rid themselves of some contracts and shorten their salary, also because i have a feeling T-Mac will comeback strong and him and Dirk on the same team each playing at a high level sounds good to me.
I know the salary works out i just don't have time to do it getting real tired. Also we will wait for it to get done because the Denver trade was done a day ago or two but im not sure.

ATL accepts

Indy accepts. Troy Murphy is a huge part of the team, and his contract wasn't that bad, And Jason Smith has potential, but Brad Miller's return to Indy will give us a veteran presence and an expiring for some flexibility, and the picks are important in Indy's plan for youth.

PHI outgoing:

Elton Brand - $14,858,472

This trade completes our team, we bring in a star PF to take the pressure off of Duncan in the frontcourt, and makes us an even better defensive team. We now think we are the 1# contender in the league. We had our reservations but Brand is 100% healthy (http://www.fantasysp.com/player/nba/Elton_Brand/449391) coming into this season and he has something to prove. Plus he isn't even 30 yet, which is a plus.

Theo Ratliff 825,497

Tyson Chandler $11,700,000

Joel Anthony $825,497
2012 Bobcats 2nd

Bobcats do it because we cut salary, add what has the potential to be a lottery pick, add two really good prospects, and a center I really like. Loosing Chandler stings and changes my direction in this game, but I didn't have the necessary pieces to build a contender (I still don't), but I am now getting closer.

12 - 15 players on roster TIME

All new trades will only be approved if within these limits.

Remember that any waived player on a guaranteed(or partially) counts against cap so please keep salary figures for these players listed on your roster page. If possible keep them separated from the players that are still active and have some indicator towards 'waived' status listed.

After convincing the Heat to take another shot and revive his lost career, Antoine Walker was spotted by Assistant GM Pat Riley in a gay strip bar Sunday Night and it appears that Miami will waive Walker due to his charges.

Heat waives Antoine Walker ---------- $1,306,455 to bring the roster limit down to 15.

Boston would like to announce a blockbuster three team deal.

Boston outgoing: Pierce, Rondo, Tony Allen ($19,795,712+2,094,922+2,500,000*1.25=30,488,293)
Boston incoming: Jameer Nelson, Pietrus, Jeff Green, Gerald Wallace, Nate Robinson, DEN 2010 unprotected first, LAC 2014 2nd (9,500,000+3,516,960+8,100,000+5,300,000+3,551,994=29,968,954)

Miami outgoing: Wallace, Green, Robinson, DEN 2010 1st, LAC 2014 2nd (9,500,000+3,516,960+3,551,994*1.25=20,711,193)
Miami incoming: Pierce (19,795,712)

LAC outgoing: Nelson, Pietrus
LAC incoming: Rondo, TPE (Can someone more cap savy than me figure his TPE for me? 13,400,000 out and just over 2m in. 11m in space created.)

Boston accepts. Frankly in real life I wouldn't fix what wasn't broken and I'd keep this team together. Unfortunately, in fantasy world real life moves are boring. When looking at my reasoning, look at it in two fashions: Rondo for Nelson, Pietrus: Rondo is up for an extension soon and personally I view Nelson as Rondo's equal. With the nice looking contract it was a no brainer. Pierce for Wallace, Green, Robinson, 1st, 2nd: Pierce is a top 2-3 SF in the league no doubt, but he's getting up there in age. Wallace is a dynamic 3 who can really cover a lot of ground on defense. My front court got that much better defensively with Perkins, KG and Wallace now. Anytime the guards get beat, there will be help defense. Green is a promising young forward who should continue to improve each year.

Edit: new boston depth chart:
Nelson, Robinson
Allen, Robinson
Wallace, Green
KG, Green, Davis
Perkins, Sheed

LAC accept the deal. Rondo is up for an extension but LAC have the cap flexibility to offer him a big deal without hurt financially.

Rondo have a ring and showed this season he can lead a team during the playoffs, and is only 23, also we like what he brings on the defensive end. Those are 2 things Nelson lack, Nelson is bad defensively and always struggled during the playoffs.

Pietrus is nice but we have a bigger fish in our plans so the cap space gain should be worth.

Phoenix agrees to this trade based on minor cap relief, not seeing a lot in R. Lopez and being higher on nick calathes who i think was a vastly underated prospect.
