A Deal with Dallas?

We'd be a prime candidate with a guy like Atkins that they can waive.

Buckner/Jawai for Atkins?

I would rather get a future pick. I don't have a lot of interest in Jawai.

10: $1,064,516 guaranteed

Yes but would you buy him out and pay $1,064,516 next season just to have Jawai?

why pay Buckner a million to go away when we can just pay atkins 800k to go away? Jawai is not a deal breaker. Rather take a flier on Kurz or Silar Garrett.

We are talking about paying $1,064,516 next season just to have him. And he doesn't even have a team option next season. Makes no sense at all.

Yup. And if we made it Atkins, you could turn that 2nd into a 1st.

I like Jawai, but we have a better version of him in Pekovic. I suppose if it's a young talented big for cap space there isn't really a down side.

I would love to see Jawai get a chance with the Wolves, but I think he'll be a d-league player wherever he goes. He might not get a good chance to prove himself in the NBA, he's still so raw.

None of this really seems worth it. Love the over-reaction on the Aussie, though.
