Bucks unlikely to trade Kurt Thomas...

Well that sucks. Anyone have any suggestions on another "big" the Suns can hopefully try to attain via trade..?

I say we just sign Stromile Swift to veteran's minimum as an insurance policy.

And if things don't play out well this season, the Suns can do this trade: Jason Richardson for Antonio Daniels, Mark Blount. Both expiring. The T-Wolves have no legitimate SG and they have four point guards (Sessions, Flynn, Daniels, Atkins).
Suns suddenly have money after this season, which allows the Suns to get............

You wouldn't mind seeing Richardson being traded away for nothing but caproom? I know his contract isn't the best but he's a legit 20 points everynight when given the chance and a top 10 SG in the league.

I like Richardson, but like I said... "If things don't play out well this season" then I would definitely trade him for cap space. Sign someone like Chris Bosh, Dwayne Wade, Joe Johnson, etc.

hmmm. just htinking about the bolded...

1. kobe. 2. wade. 3. ginobli. 4. j johnson. 5. roy. 6. redd. 7. ray allen. 8. vince carter. 9. rip

ben gordon, k. mart, oj mayo, stephen jackson...

i like j rich but he's arguably not a top 10 SG and his contract is a burden. he was the last guy (or close) in voluntary workouts and his off-the-court behavior was nuts last year.

not to mention the most important name that -could- be on that list, barbs.

I think you could make a case for j-rich being number 10 on that list. i don't know if i really consider VC a true shooting guard. i also don't think that oj mayo has quite moved past him. I would say j-rich is somewhere among the 8-12 spot.
Yes, yes y'all

JRich is hardly a top 10 SG. Very good and above-average yes, but definitely not top 10.

I'm not sure what the Buck's FO been saying about KT is going to stick. They have too much depth at the 4-5 and I think come December, they are going to sell off their bigger assets for more manageable pieces. KT is not going to stay, he's not part of their "plans" nor is he on a bargain contract either.

On this team, i'd rather have JRich over

Carter
Redd
Rip
Ben Gordon

and that's not even taking salaries into account.

Well it doesn't really matter what they're likely or unlikely to do, because that franchise is a mess right now. Yi gone for RJ, RJ gone for nothing. TJ Ford gone for CV, CV gone for nothing. Sessions gone for nothing. WTF is going on with them?

The Bucks are one of the worst franchises of all sports.
Kurt Thomas bought a house in Milwaukee too. Yuck lol.

They want to be the Suns, more like

Anyone else think it's coincidental that a few days after the Bucks come out and say it's "unlikely Kurt Thomas will be traded", we finally settle Pavlovic's buyout...?

Maybe we did ask about KT after all.

Kurt is way too expensive for us, still. Let's face it, this is it, and it ain't that bad. Could be better, could be worse.

Far as this season is concerned, I've pretty much accepted that we're going in with the squad we have now.

ANY trades or pickups will just be a bonus. It's just nice to think that our FO knows we have a need at the C (allegedly).
