I think we'll lose pretty handily to the Giants because our line won't be able to open up holes and Harrington will be pressured all night.

After a potential 1-5 start and with everything else going on in the organization, I think we really start to see the fallout.

Vick is going to set this team back years.

It can't be any worse than last week. More than their defensive pressure and their running game I'm worried about Plaxico Burress and Jeremy Shockey. I think we'll play better than most expect, but our secondary will likely be exposed. Of course, the Giants are far from consistent. If we catch them on a bad night (like our day Sunday) we could just as easily blow them out.

I just found out Todd Weiner is out too. That will make it that much harder to get anything going.

Gandy out, Weiner out, Joey in against a great pass rush = ugly loss.

Although if the patchwork line gives him time, the NYG secondary is freaking awful...

The pass D has been rectified in recent weeks. Ross is outstanding, Madison is back and playing great and Gibril has always been our best secondary player; the only (starting) player that is terrible is Butler (I'm hoping he gets replaced by Michael Johnson soon). Dockery is a decent nickel, Webster and RW (starters at the beginning of the year) are awful.

You shouldn't be worried about Shockey. He hasn't been doing much.

Falcons should do fine Monday night.... as long as they make adjustments.

last game against the titans, their DLine dominated the birds and the coaches didn't make any adjustments by not calling more max protect and screens.

Falcons just need to play their game... and then what ever the Giants are doing well or not doing well, correspond in scheme

Well, you guys weren't absolutely atrocious. Norwood broke off that great run and you had a good first drive.

Personally, I think Norwood should start and get the majority of the carries. Dunn is done. Also (and you probably won't agree) I think you should pick up Eric Shelton. Big back with speed, never really got a shot in Carolina. Petrino coached him in Louisville so he definately knows how to use him. Thunder to Norwood's lightning.

Your receivers are pretty decent (I like White, Jenkins is alright) and your defense played pretty well. I also don't think Harrington had that bad of a game. His receivers dropped way too many balls.

i hope i'm wrong about this, but i think the Falcons officially have imploded in the 4th quarter of the Titans game, where the Titans where trying to give us the game, and the Falcons could still not take it.

i really felt fine the first 4 games, the defense was solid in every game, offense was improving every game, but now it looks like the Falcons are running backwards.

If you get tunrovers and stops and can't move the ball, they don't deserve to win. They had a good drive in the opening and didn't stick with it. I think they would struggle against the Dolphins Jets, and Rams probably. They are back to the old midt-to late 80s teams when 7 wins would look good.

The problem with our offense is that we can never get everything or even most things working on the same drive. The running game never works, that's consistent, but if Harrington is throwing the ball well he can't get protection and/or the receivers are dropping balls. If the line gives Harrington time he makes a bad throw or the receivers drop the ball. If the receivers are playing great we can't get the ball to them.

It's frustrating knowing how many chances we have had to to win games and we just refuse to take advantage. That tone was set in the beginning with the roughing the kicker.

Williams has been off this year, after last year which I really considered a coming out party for him.
