That someone re: Suns fans only was me. C'mon Miklo, I thought you had more respect than that.

My vote would be for a 2 league system as this would guarantee that people stay competitive all the way through in fear of losing there spot in the "A" league. So that would be another pro. Here are lasts seasons standings for those who have any interest in them. I would say that competitiveness is the most important thing in these leagues, that is my only real reason for voting this way. I would of course still participate in a larger league.

1. Kobe Jordan god
2. Kraut is King
3. BBF 3Peat Countdown
4. Miklo's Manu Haters
5. psyclOnE's Marauders
6. Master of Puppets
7. LB43
8. Auburn Hills Suns
9. PANDA
10. Devil Dogs
11. Nevetsov
12. BringDaRuckus
13. Scorched Earth
14. Port Adelaide Suns
15. Get Nashty Squad
16. The Zeneth Krawl

BTW, has anyone seen BDR around these here parts lately? On that note, it is interesting how many of those teams the posters are still around, or not more so.

I don't like your dictatorish ways.

I will do what the rest do and abide by the rules, but I usually use the same name for all my teams.

Auburn Hills Suns = NBA
Auburn Hills R-Wings = NHL
Auburn Hills Raiders = NFL
Auburn Hills White Sox = MLB

Don't like my dictatorish ways? You're out of the league, buddy.
Yeah I meant to say, whoever uses other names we can keep a list of RGM names versus fantasy names in the first post. Last year I kept getting confused as hell so as long as we have it in one place I'll know who I could offer Grant Hill for Kobe, etc

I think anything over 16 teams get's a little tough...

That being said, I worked my arse off last year and lost to people that didn't change their rosters ALL YEAR... it was actually quite a feat. I would have done better had I not done anything...

I guess what I am saying is that 4th from last took a lot of work and I just would have barely made the cut... yikes...

Done. While we're doing this, I guess anyone who participated last year could mention whether they do/don't want to do it again this year. On the players list I will bold the names of people who opt in for this year.

I've already bolded people from last year who made comments on this thread or the offseason thread.

I'm still torn on which format I would prefer, but a couple of responses to your points:

If we did 2 leagues, we could always just keep them separate, but I think by relegating/promoting a few teams it almost adds stakes since we are not playing for money...like if your team is not doing well you won't just give up halfway through the season cause you might jeopardize your chance to play in the A league next year.

And also, you mentioned losing to people who didn't change their rosters...its one thing to stand pat and be happy with your roster, but perhaps if anyone actually just stopped even checking or lost interest, they could automatically be moved to the bottom when considering who to relegate to the B league the following season...not to be punitive but just to give an incentive for everyone to keep the league competitive and active

Like I said, I don't have a apreference as far as 1 big league vs. 2 smaller leagues, so everyone chime in...

I say 16 teams max per league, even if just one league. We may have enough open spots from last year to satisfy those who do want to play this year in one league.

If you do two leagues, 16 per would mean 32 teams... that's a ton. Plus, the draft is challenging already, trying to coordinate two at the same time would be awful.

I say either one league with 16 teams or two leagues with 12 teams each... if you can find 24 interested parties.

i like the two league idea. i think it would be cool if more than 3 teams got demoted. maybe only the top 5 or top 8 teams are guaranteed into the A league the following season?

ps - i want to play.

It looks like I have been summoned!

Hahah sorry guys. It's been ages since I have really posted. But I am back. And I would love to be apart of this years RealGM Suns Fantasy Basketball.

And so far what I read, it sounds like just a minor tweak and maybe do a two-league setup might be a route to go.
Looking forward to the 28-29 season.

The master has returned! BDR, we could always have someone in the "B" league run the draft for that league so you don't have to deal with two of them if you don't want.

It would be awesome to have someone do the B League draft. If not, it's not too much stress to run both.

The real stress comes with the timing of picks. I think we did it with a 12 hour time frame? Seemed to go by smoothly. It would be hard to monitor both leagues with the picks.

And after re-reading everything, mabye make the pool of demotees and promotees slightly bigger. Instead of 3 from each, maybe do 5?

Obviously we can see what everyone wants before making it final. Do we also want to start a keeper league this season as well? Although I think that might be hard if a B team makes the A league and they have the same player.... hmmm scratch it.... too hard to keep track. Hahaha
Looking forward to the 28-29 season.

Yeah, i would love to be involved, but unfortunately i will be signing up for the "Noob" league (as i have done Fantasy BBALL only once and i kinda quit during the season (Bad Kerrsed, BAD!) So sign me up for the "B" squad and i will look forward to playing against the "PRO'S" next year after i DOMINATE this year.
