no point in having the draft so early.. i got royally f'd a few years ago when the draft was early, I took Amare with my first pick (maybe the 4th or 5th overall selection?), and he gets injured in pre-season, and misses almost the entire season..

Just got a new fantasy magazine. Here's what they say about the Raps:

Bosh-Bosh fell off from his early MVP-type numbers, but he'll score and should grab around 10 rebounds with O'Neal gone. He's not a shot-blocker, but the strong FT% is a nice bonus.
Pred- 23.1-9.9-2.6

Turkoglu-Turkoglu's value holds steady with the move to Toronto. He'll do a bit less playmaking alongside traditional point guard Calderon, but Dwight Howard won't be there to take all the boards.
Pred- 17.7-6.2-4.4

Bargnani- With Jermaine O'Neal gone, Bargnani should continue to flourish. His lack of rebounding (alongside Chris Bosh) and mediocre FG% will disappoint, but the 3s and FT% will make up for it.
Pred- 18.4-5.7-1.4

Calderon- He took the summer off to let the torn ligament in his finger heal. Calderon will be among the league's assist leaders and his high FG% is a huge bonus, but don't overrate his FT% impact.
Pred- 13-3-9

Jack- His defense and toughness will alow him to play alongside Jose Calderon, and Jack could even start at the 2. He's going to help a bit in points, assists, threes, steals, and FT%.
Pred- 11.9-3.2-3.5

DeRozan- He came into his own at the end of his freshman year and DeRozan should be a part of Toronto's rotation. He's not much of a Roto prospect though, especially with his awful FT shooting.
Pred- 8.1-3.6-0.9

Belinelli- Leaving Golden State's uptempo system is a negative, but Belinelli gets a new lease on life up north. If he can earn his way into Toronto's rotation, he could be a cheap source of threes.
Pred- 9.7-1.8-2.2

Evans- The Raptors acquired Evans to add toughness, so he should be a big part of their rotation. Owners desperate for rebounds can take a flier, but his awful FT shooting almost cancels it out.
Pred- 5- 7.1-0.7

Wright- Wright has an absolute chance at starting in Toronto, but his brutal shooting over his career so far will probably keep that from happening. You can ignore him on draft day.

Nesterovic- not listed.

Hi guys!

Even though I am in two leagues, I couldn't wait and created another league. It's a 20-team league however they will be separated by two divisions (or conferences). If you get stuck in the competitive conference, then tough luck...that's what happens in sports. The top 4 teams in each conference makes it to the playoffs (top seed in each conference gets the first two seeds). There's no trade deadline and I decided that I will have the final say with trades because A) no waiting time and B) I want lots of trades.

For rosters, I have created teams that will be drafting 15 players...12 active and 3 bench players, much like real life. Scoring I have not fully have set in stone...but I think turnovers is a horrible category so I am not including it (any high profile player turns the damn ball over).

Oh yeah, it's H2H and we will be drafting Friday night at 11PM (that is tomorrow!) I have nothing better to do on a Friday night so you people better follow suit. Lurkers are welcome but I prefer users on the site. Hurry!

Not sure why I'm not allowed to edit my posts but to sign up, go to http://basketball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/nba then there should be an area that says "Get team" or something. Then you click "Join Custom", then type in the above league ID and password and you're in.
