I made a topic/poll on the knicks board called "Would you trade the Knicks roster for the Wolves roster" because there is so much bashing of the wolves and David Kahn on that forum.
I woke up this morning and it was gone, not even locked. Was it moved to another board? Did this violate any rules? I didn't receive any warnings or infractions for it. Was it just done at the mods discretion? I could see how it might be interpreted as trolling, but that wasn't my intent, and wouldn't the thread about trading David Lee for Greg Oden also be considered trolling?
Can I reopen the thread without getting penalized or banned? I thought it was a valid discussion despite being a blatant hypothetical (Salaries don't even match). It kind of makes me uneasy about posting anything critical on teams forums because the mods are fans after all. I wouldn't dare post anything critical on the raptors board.

Re: What was wrong with my topic?
I am not the mod who removed the topic, nor do I even moderate the Knicks board, so a Knicks mod, or the guy who removed it, can speak more aptly than I can.
But looking at the restricted forum (the place threads go to die)- your topic was moved along with another topic named "OT: Official We Hate David Kahn Thread." It stands to reason that the threads were removed pre-emptively, to prevent flaming from one board to another- some of which had already went on previously due to the Rubio situation. Were you warned for your post? I don't believe you were. That indicates that you did nothing wrong specifically...it was simply the topic that was found to be counter-productive for the forum.
A venomous thread like that, and your response thread, could easily spark trolling. To prevent it, the mod removed both threads. I think.

I always thought that place was a myth.
