The ESPN recap shows the brawl. I have somewhat more respect for Jesse Carlson for being the guy who FINALLY f'g threw back at a team that repeatedly hit our batters.

They've hit Hill twice, Ruiz once in the face, and Encarnacion. In return, the Jays have responded by missing their one attempt at payback. 4-0 seems like a raw deal to me. I want some real justice tonight.

Six HBP within the last four meetings, if I'm not mistaken.

So, Tallet's doing his usual thing already... :sigh:

Actually those 6 were all in the four game series in Toronto. Last night's 2 make it 8 in the last five meetings.

So, no more Tallet, we tied the game, but that come-backer beat him up a beat. Decent job by Camp so far.

Ooh, Camp hit Cano. That thing MOVED, though, did you see that? That came from basically over the corner and hit him in the knee. Nasty slider.

Ooh, Jeter with an error. Not frequent. Number 8 on the season.

So it appears the order of the day for our lefties is "give up two runs, then get injured."

Tallet and Downs both pitching poorly and then leaving due to injury. Downs looked particularly bad.

Nice one-out pitching from Frasor to close the inning out on Cabrera.

Decent at-bat, Lind just couldn't come through. Nice running from Scutaro. Hopefully we hold them in the bottom half. Maybe Wells (who has been hitting the ball well of late) will come through with something. We'll see.

I hate that I can always assume the Jays will lose a tight game.

We never have a team where I have the confidence that we'll get through adversity. I knew Cervelli was going to get a hit. It's not that Frasor's bad, he's been pretty good for us for most of his games this year, but especially because the Yankees ALWAYS do this to us, and we're just not that clutch a team.

Go, go W-turned-L. We even hit pretty well and held them in check for a while. In fact, we held them in check for 6 innings, and even the damage done in the first wasn't the killing blow. It was that freaking 2-run homer Downs gave up to Matsui in the bottom of the 8th.

*sigh*

Go Jays! Let's set the record for 1 run losses! Are we close to the all time record? Idk how to look it up.

FML, I'm sick of Toronto sports being second-class citizens to their American counterparts.

Then you should follow the Argos; you get to be second class to Regina!
