Boozer for Lee rumor, again

Post#1 » by HolyToledo » Thu Sep 17, 2009 2:53 am

Boozer for David Lee rumor accordingly to Ric Bucher...would be sign and trade deal. I am assuming other parts would be involved as well. U guys know I think Boozer needs to go so whatever they can get I say go for it.

Lets assume deal gets done. Who starts? Millsap or Lee? Does mean Ak-47 to bench and/or playing the SF which he doesnt play well? Lee is not a Jazz need player which shows me that Jazz really trying to trade Boozer and there is not much value out there and this is the best they can get. Oh well, get it done KOC beats keeping the Loozer and at least they get a good player.

I'd consider it. Better than losing Booze for nothing. I hate to help NY out though.

But, I'd consider it.

I wonder what the other piece may be to get the deal done. I definitely don't think they will give David Lee Boozer-type money as he isn't a need player. But having depth is never a bad thing. Maybe a SF to replace Harpring?

Can't imagine Jazz trading Boozer for Lee+something with NYK. Lee doesn't address any Utah need; Jazz won't compromise 15-16M average (or more) for a commitee PF. I'd be seriously shocked.

Now reports are deal is off and Knicks keeping Lee for one season then resigning him long term after the season. They prefer Lee over Boozer which I do as well. There are no takers for the Loozer simple as that. Jazz are stuck with him and his distraction to the the team. Where is Isiah when you need him so Jazz can dump this guy. Boozer is like the plague in this league. He has reached Zach Randolph level. No one will take him on unless they are desperate or stupid. He is cancer and everyone in the league knows that.

Guess what? I'm locking this thread because of how it got personal.

Feel free to start a new thread about this if you can do so without the personal attacks.
