To Sacramento:

Chris Kaman

To L.A

Kenny Thomas (exp)
Sergio Rodriguez
2nd round pick..probably very low in the 2nd round

Kings:

Evans/Beno
Martin/Garcia
Noc/Greene/Casspi
Thompson/May/Brockman
Hawes/Kaman

Clippers:

Davis/Rodriguez
Gordon/R. Davis
Thornton/Butler
Griffin/Smith
Camby/Jordan

Kings: Get a great 2nd option at center who will be active and will rebound the ball, something the Kings have trouble with.

Clippers: Clear room for DeAndre Jordan and get a traditional point guard to back up Davis as well as a large expiring in Thomas. The 2nd round pick will probably be to higer than 36 in the draft.

I think a rotation of Hawes, Kaman, JT, May is pretty good, lots of athletisism and Kaman will rebound at a high rate.. The clippers need to see what Jordan can do and need to clear space and I think this is a solid way to do it..

Horrid deal for the Clips, in my opinion. Kaman's worth more than that. The premises may be sound (clearing cap, making room for Jordan, getting a pick) but the value just simply doesn't add up.

Ehh, just not interested in Kaman with Hawes already here. I just think it would be an unnecessary complication.

Yeah, Kaman isn't a correct fit for the Kings.

Kaman is actually a pretty good fit for the Kings he can score, rebound and block shots off the bench and play both the 4/5. Straight expirings in Sergio and Thomas for the Clips would be a pretty good deal for the Clips. They could get better for Caman, but where would they get minutes they are packed with talented big and little guys? With the minutes the Clips have I think they will be forced to trade him for straight expirings.

I think if we were in the playoffs this would be a good deal to add Kaman as depth. However I feel we need to get an impact player with Thomas or let him expire.

Give us Greene + and exp and it's a done deal.
