As much as you want other people to let go mentioning Favre, we want you to let go telling people to 'let it go' every time Favre is mentioned on the boards.

And as WAH said, we're talking about his team and his receivers. Him being brought up is about as inevitable as ever.

This is exactly how I see it. I think he has incredible athleticism and he'll make some big plays, but I don't see him every developing the little things need to be an elite rec..route running, hands, reading the D, etc.

Not to be "preachy", but let's keep it civil. GAD introduced me to Jake at a Fitzgibbon's post-game (he was probably too faded to remember) and he's a cool guy. You guys need to start coming out to realgm events so we can quell the venom.

I assume that is generally directed towards me, and I'm really not trying to get un-civil on this matter. I never take that sort of stance. But I think the point stands. As much as one side wants Favre to not be apart of any conversations on this board anymore, another side feels the right/need to bring him into conversations given all that has transpired. I really do not feel this is the thread to try to deny his inclusion in, as if it should be denied at all. It has nothing to do with the user - I have never had any problem with jake in the past, nor do I have a problem with him now, and I would think/hope that he feels the same way. But it's the truth. As much as Favre is talked about around here, there are posts criticizing every Favre mention. It is the way it has gone, and the way it will likely continue to be. But realistically, what is to be expected? He is now playing for the Packers' enemy, and this topic is regarding said team. What is to be expected on a Packers board? I would hope that if one opinion can be expressed, that the other can as well.

No worries mates. Thankfully this board is nothing like the Bucks board.

And what's the only difference? No WEFFPIM or jerrod. Bad influences those two.
