I am doing it for the 2nd. And Fisher might be able to help out Jennings too I spose.

The New York Knicks, and Boston Celtics have agreed upon a trade.

The Knicks send Mario Chalmers ($756,000), Shane Battier ($6,939,200), New York Knicks 2013 2nd and Atlanta's 2010 1st Round Draft Pick in exchange for Jameer Nelson ($8,100,000) and Bill Walker ($736,420).

Celtics Outgoing/Knicks Incoming: $8,836,420
Knicks Outgoing/Celtics Incoming: $7,695,200 X 1.25 = $9,619,000

Deal Works. Knicks accept, we acquire our all-star caliber PG, and with he, Ellis, Okafor, Chandler, and Lee, we like the young core we have built. We forgo max capspace with this deal, but we still have enough space to pick up a significant piece. We still have the flexibility with other potential deals to get that desired max space, but with some recent shuffling of moves, getting that space isn't as essential as it was before. Bill Walker has some potential, and adds some more youth on the wings.

Accepted. Frankly i'm still bored. and TMAC is relentless.

I pick up a serviceable starting PG who improves me defense and a great leader at the SF position with all world D. I'm hoping Battier can keep KG from barking at people.

ATL's picks also just add to the collection of assets.

Sacramento and NOH have a trade to announce

NOH Out: Amir Johnson 3,941,667

Sacramento Out: TPE created from his cap space

NOH accepts, this gets us below the luxury tax threshold which is very important for my team.

Golden State and Miami have agreed on a trade:

Golden State sends:

Tayshaun Prince ($10,324,380)
Jason Maxiell ($5,000,000)

Total Salary outgoing = $15,324,380 x 1.25 = $19,155,475

for

Rudy Gay ($3,280,997)
Nazr Mohammed ($6,466,600)
Vladimir Radmanovic ($6,466,600)

Total Incoming = $16,214,197

Deal Works

Why? We get another young stud in Gay to add to our core. We had to take on some long term salary and bad contracts, but Mohammed can be a serviceable backup center and Vlad Rad can play spot minutes as a shooter off the bench.

Golden State and San Antonio have agreed on a deal

Golden State sends:

Steve Blake ($4,000,000)
Will Bynum ($825,497)

Total = $4,825,497

San Antonio sends:

Chris Wilcox ($3,000,000)
Tyronn Lue ($959,111)
2011 SA 1st Rounder

Total = $3,959,111 x 1.25 = $4,948,889

Deal Works

Why? I get a better backup center in Wilcox and clear a slight logjam at PG as well as picking up an extra 1st round pick, which is always useful.

Confirmed. In short we think Blake is one of the best backup PG's in the game, and could start on some teams. Really smart player, can spread the floor, and a good piece on a contender. Will Bynum is a solid prospect that I will likely flip to a rebuilder, I like his game as well.

Sacramento Accepts, we needed a big man in the worse kind of way to backup Jason Thompson and Spencer Hawes, hopefully Amir can give us 15-20 minutes a game to take the burden off of them.

Accepted.

First off, I really lacked that "stopper" in my team, it was just a bunch of scorers who score, no D at all, and if you think that I'm losing this trade, you're wrong, baby, I may have given a nice potential star in Gay, but I get a proven veteran who's has some sexy playoff/finals experience, great defender, can hit the spot up three, and get an energy guy in J-Max, and get rid of 2 fugly contracts.

you would have to be under the cap by his actual salary and pick him up off waivers, as i recall players do not clear waivers in this game.

SAN and ATL have a blockbuster to announce.

Elton Brand - $14,858,472
Josh Howard - $10,890,000
Steve Blake: $4,000,000 (pending approval of prior deal)

For

Al Horford $4,307,640
Richard Hamilton - $11,375,000
Corey Maggette - $8,937,931

We take on a bad contract in Maggette and are reluctant to part with Howard but we like Horford, we feel that learning under Duncan is a unique opportunity for him. We have no bench, and two starting SG’s but we will figure it out later on.

Orlando and Miami have a deal to announce

Orlando will be sending
Baron Davis ($12,100,000)
to Miami for
Ray Felton ($5,000,000)
Allen Iverson ($5,800,000) TOTAL= $10,800,000 x 1.2+100,000 = 13,060,000

this was a difficult dicission to make but we wanted more finacial flexability which this deal brings. We believe Diddy will have a bounce back year, but we like the toughness and steady improving play that Ray brings, plus teaming up with Sessions who both can play on or off the ball is nice. AI we are not 100% sure what role he will have, but have always been a big fan and actually tried very hard to get him to sign in Orlando during free agency

Miami accepts.

Felton could certainly helped to take less shots from the team, but ehh..we don't wanna miss the chance to get a fellow star to pair with Paul Pierce and the rest as the vocal leader of the locker room and offense. We also get rid of a headcase in A.I, and I signed him just because I'm a fan of him and that his expiring will come in handy for trades like these.

its the way we have always done it, whoever wants him would have to be under the cap to take his whole salary, else I could agree with someone to buy out a star player and they sign him for the minimum. So when we started the game 2 years ago we decided players would not clear waivers if bought out or waived or whatever else there is. They can only be picked up by someone under the cap who can take their whole salary to prevent abuse.

I am not sure how it would be abused as I would have sole control over allowing signings and would not let a team sign a big name player to a contract like that but have no problem keeping the status quo in this case either.

Besides, any waiving of players with guaranteed contracts stay on the books.

and

If a team is not far enough under the cap but has enough MLE, BAE, etc that works too.
