OT: Jets vs Pats

Post#1 » by HighRyzer83 » Sun Sep 20, 2009 6:46 pm

Jest just took the lead 10-9 in the second half. Mayo and Welker are out for the Pats but the Jets dont have Calvin Pace and the they lost lito sheppard. The winner of this game might take the torch in the afc east.

Absolutely he needs to get his rhythm going. It was odd Rex didnt let him throw on 3rd down back in the 1st half and elected to run, and settled for a FG. Sanchez is a rookie but I think he should at least get a shot at getting that 1st down. If he would of failed, they still had that FG option.

Wow Stuckey was wide open and slips in the endzone that would have been an easy TD. Jets really had a chance to step their foot on the throaght of the Pats. But this is how the Pats win. They wait for you to beat yourself, then hold serve.

Err.... Only 1. That little guy isn't Welker. Just Moss, but Revis is arguably the best corner in the NFL.

Revis ate Johnson for breakfast and Moss for lunch.
Instead of playing prevent (prevent win) defense like mangini would have done AND LOST, Rex rushes 6+ guys at Brady And demoralizes them. There is nothing Brady or any mortal could have done there, most QBs would have got sacked or picked.
The tide has turned.

No offensive TDs against the Jets in the first two games. Only 8ppg against so far, too.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.
