There is absolutely no way that any NBA star would be the best player on any team in Europe. There are players in Europe that would be top 3-5 at their position in the NBA.

^^ At the guard and forward positions there aren't any Euroleague players who would break the top 25 in the NBA, let alone the top 5. However, I think Pekovic could be a top 10 center because of the NBA's lack of talent at that position. After Howard and Yao, there's a huge drop-off in talent. The forward/center hybrid player (KG, Duncan, and Bosh) is becoming the norm.

Recent Euroleague MVPs, Navarro and Spanoulis, weren't even top 25 players at their positions in the NBA. They weren't even top 5 players on their respective NBA teams. Igor Rakocevic, another 2008-09 All-Euroleague player, only averaged 1.9 ppg for the T'Wolves during his NBA stint. Top 5........no way!

I believe that some Euroleague players would make good role players in the NBA because they're very good at fitting into the system.

Every NBA All-Star would be the best player on any Euroleague team. They're the best players in the world. The fact that many ex-NBA players (who aren't even close to All-Star quality) have become All-Euroleague players make this even more evident. On the other hand, Euroleague MVPs (Spanoulis, Navarro, and Jasikevicius) can't even crack the starting line-up for any NBA teams.

No one but NBA only fans care about such posts. You are really just wasting your time with all this effort on the international section because European fans know this sort of opinion comes from people that are strictly a NBA only fan.

Would Devin Harris, Carlos Boozer, Michael Redd or Mo Williams be the "best player on any team in Europe"? Certainly not in top Euroleague contenders. And these guys are NBA All-Stars.
