I will gladly take Webster over Revis. That isn't me sh_tting on Revis, I just think that highly of Webster. Only 20% of passes thrown in his direction last season were completed. That INT against the Skins was insane as well.

Always love seeing the Pats lose. Congrats.

Correction 2nd time I seen the Pats SHOOK.
Whats funny is that the jets could have done better. Pace, their best pass rusher was out, running game was unusually quiet, 2 fumbles to start the game, a stumble in the endzone that should have been a routine pitch and catch TD. This could have been a blowout really.

Having seen what Revis did to Moss and Johnson in back to back weeks...I absolutely disagree. I don't know of many CB's who could pull that off at all. Revis seems like he just never gives up the big play, and that pick today was a momentum shifter imo. Our defense is just insane with Rex at the helm and the acquisitions, Scott has been GREAT. Harris is fun to watch too. I hope the running game cliques better though, because last week we had two big runs and a couple of seminole runs that shielded a pretty poor week and this week it just didn't look great. Sanchez however, once they stopped trying to shield him (5 attempts in the first half WTF), was again impressive as hell. I hated the move for him and now I'm eating my words.

Just got back.....was sitting on row 17, good god that stadium has NEVER been that loud....EVERYBODY was up on every single drive we were on defense.....This team is foreal man, Rhodes pumped everybody up during the game and games end he goes in the endzone n yells, "NOT IN OUR HOUSE!" and 5 minutes after the game was over everybody was chanting "D-FENSE"

Rex gave the game ball to the crowd =))

Instead of playing prevent (prevent win) defense like mangini would have done AND LOST, Rex rushes 6+ guys at Brady And demoralizes them. There is nothing Brady or any mortal could have done there, most QBs would have got sacked or picked.
The tide has turned.

that is the difference with this team... they play to win, and not to lose under ryan... they harrased brady all day..

was at the game today, it was easily the loudest football game ive ever been too, the only things really comparable are the 4 point play game and the Yankees - Mets Subway Series where Clemens through the bat at Piazza, the game where Bernie hit that HR against the sox in the extras in the playoffs was pretty comparable also, I was sitting next to all the wives/families of the Red Sox haha it was great but I was younger.

Damn, looking back on it ive been to some GREAT games, and this was up there and its only week two.

I saw that too, what a douche. Sanchez literally had to chase him down for a shake and he showed class shaking every Pat's hand he passed.

Also, people should note (something I haven't brought into the Webster/Revis convo) that those Mangini Prevent Defense schemes not only cost us games but skewed the numbers of our secondary a bit because we were letting everyone have time and space to throw. It effected us over the middle more, but I guarantee others even the corners were affected.

P.S. One more addition, that I almost made a brand new post for...The Jets Special Teams are a huge key to the victory against the Pats. Washington and Leondard gave us GREAT field position repeatedly and on the opposite end we really stopped the Pats from really getting any free yards on their own returns.

those mangini prevent defense schemes drove me crazy. We would be pressuring the QB all day, and then sit back and let him get a rythm with the prevent defense. I don't like that defense. Only makes sense when you are up two scores and there is barely enough time for them to chip their time down field for one score. Then I can see that. Anyway, our corners had to defend for 5-6 seconds with that prevent defense, and even the best defender will have a hard time covering anyone with that much time..

As far as our special teams go. I still miss justin miller.. what ever happened to that guy? he got injured a lot, but he was a beast on special teams.....
