Trade Landry+Cook for Bibby?

Post#1 » by dartherus » Mon Sep 21, 2009 4:26 pm

The salaries should match...do you see it possible, convenient?
If this happens, Brooks could be traded later for a young, athletic REALLY tall guy...don't you think?

Thanks in advance for any fact or clarification I'm not aware of that would make this unlikely....

If Bibby is expiring this year, it's a possibility. If not, I would think the Rockets would stick with Brooks/Lowry.

Why would we do this? Is Bibby going to put us over the top? Didnt think so.

The rare and elusive "both teams say haha" trade proposal.

Quiet. You don't want to scare it away. These chances don't come around too often. You should feel privileged.

Isn't that their draft strategy?

I mean, sure value wise, it's not that bad. But it's somewhat pointless, we want to develop Brooks, and are pleased by what Lowry brings off the bench -- bringing in a long term veteran on a team that's likely going with a more youthful running approach, Bibby just wouldn't make sense.
