How would the Bear's D line up in a 3-4

Was just wondering since the strength of the defense is our linebanking core (next year with BU back) and we lack a typical end rusher.....thoughts

I actually had a dream about us switching to the 3-4 and dominating.

That extra LB in Pass coverage/To run stop would help big time.

A lot of our defense is predicated in getting a big pass rush up the middle, but Tommie Harris due to his injuries can't get that big push up the middle, so the rest of our line at time struggles.

I think it could really work to our benefit

Tommie Harris, Alex Brown, and Ogunleye at DE. Adams is our best bet at NT, but you'd really need a better one. In fact many of our DT are DE in a 3-4 (Idonije, Gilbert).

Anderson goes to OLB. I probably put Urlacher at OLB too. Harris in the middle. Not sure about Pisa, middle I guess.

If everyone was healthy...

Starters:
NT: Harrison
DE: Harris + Brown
OLB: Ogunleye + Tinoisamoa
ILB: Urlacher + Briggs = ILB

Backups:
NT: Adams
DE: Gilbert, Idonije
OLB: Anderson, Williams, Roach
ILB: Hillenmeyer

Cliff Levingston doesn't like Ogunleye at OLB necessarily, but that could be a a really nice group of talent for the 3-4.
