KC seems to play well vs boston. Looks like they might pull out another win tonight, while we will probably struggle with 7-8 ervin santana.. go figure..

Magic Number = 5

Surprising since we were gonna get swept by the angels and the red sox were about to win 3 easy games against the royals..

Funny how the magic number has been reduced 44% in less then 2 days..

Don't listen to those "Yankee fans", they probably post here casue the Red Sox board is dead.

AJ was solid AGAIN. Our bullpen held the lead, and our offense scored enough runs to win with no HRs. But there will be something to complain about. *waits*

Let me begin... AJ Burnett was crap!!

How can you only go 5.2 innings??? If he would have gotten 6, then the start would have been great.. 5.2 is just unacceptable..

Yet he had 11k's.. it just goes to show how nasty his stuff can be..

but I will take 2 out of 3 anyday...

Jeff was being sarcastic, he's mocking some of the negative posters on this board that criticize no matter what.
2 of 3 especially from the Angels is awesome, and AJ seems back on track. Hopefully he preforms in the postseason

Again, if Burnett got the win in the 15 inning duel against Beckett and the Red Sox...if Mo doesn't blow the save...the NY sport talk shows and ESPN isn't panicing about him like crazy.

However, I am VERY curious about this upcoming series against the Red Sox how things play out. Beckett already pitched, so Lester meets Sabbathia...then the Yanks get to see Dice-K whom I have a feeling they are going to rock.
