Kareem Rush invited to training camp.

Post#1 » by illastrate » Wed Sep 23, 2009 2:22 am

Among other free agents going to camp trying to earn jobs, guard Morris Almond is heading to Orlando, guard Kareem Rush to the Los Angeles Clippers, center Earl Barron to New Orleans, forward Maceo Baston to Detroit, center Courtney Sims to Atlanta and guard Mario West, a restricted free agent, is returning to the Hawks.

Can we cut Skinner and sign him? :)

We just signed skinner, so I doubt it. Also we might need skinner to play some minutes if camby/kaman get injured.
Currently our roster is 14, so we can add Kareem Rush as the 15th player.

Rush would be a nice pickup behind EJ & Ricky.

Don't RUSH signing Kareem! Keep the 15th spot open, just in case of a mid-season injury or a RETIRED Vet wants to come back for a Play-off Run (Barry). I think it is a waste of a Roster Spot & $$$$$ on Rush.

I've been waiting on us to add training camp players. I'm glad it's not McCoy again, but I'd rather see us add another guard who can run the offense though.

We have to see who else is going to be added to the training camp roster, but Rush seems solid. Let's see how he plays during training camp.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

I am pretty happy to have Rush on the team. Athletic guy who has a great 3pt shot should always come in handy.

Ever since he left the Lakers, I never seen him play. The only thing I remember of him, was that he hit a few crazy jumpers, and I used to think that the Lakers had two Kobe Bryants. I guess that was just random moments, and that he couldn't hit those shots on a consistent basis.

I wouldn't mind picking him up. I think he'd be a decent backup guard. Of course, if we don't sign him, I don't mind that either. Gives us some flexibility to work with.
