Denver would be a much better team if they cut all the alley-oops to the rim. With one of the best Point guards in the west and the NBA, they will be heard of. Just not as deep as the Spurs or Lakers. They seem to be like the Suns a few years ago. Could and should win it all. Just there is someone better...The Lakers

Out of all the teams the Lakers faced during the playoff grind, I think Denver had the best legitimate shot at beating the Lakers. Also being the best team LA faced. I don't take issue with Kenyon saying any of what he's been saying. It's a nice mentality to have from one of your role players. It was a tough series, and it wasn't like the Lakers were that much better then Denver. Melo on the other hand let them down I thought. And him thinking he's finally "arrived" with the likes of Wade and LeBron is laughable. If anything is funny, its what Anthony has been crapping out the mouth.

That series was simply misleading...

First off people need to stop saying we stole the games. We were UP both times, meaning they had to both score JUST TO TIE IT and prevent us from scoring again. That is a long shot from them actually winning the game.

Second if you want to use that argument you could easily same the same thing that we gave away game 3. We had a 13 p lead with a minute left in the half and fell asleep. Then WE threw away a pass in the last minute with the game TIED, not down, that gave away that game.

Third, we were out of sync a little to start that series, started in Houston and continued for a few games. Hell game one we shot 41% to 48% and STILL WON. Once we got in sync we toyed with them just like the regular season and previous playoffs.

Fourth, 4-2 even with Gimpy Bynum...

Fifth Our biggest two problems with them were Mello killing us and Kobe having to split time between Mello and Billups... Artest solves both of those...

Denver is not close to LA, I'm sorry but they are 3-14 vs us the last two years and many of those were big blowouts...
