Raptors Season Ticket Holders Gifts

Post#1 » by cyp316 » Wed Sep 23, 2009 1:26 pm

Hey, I am a season ticket holder and was just wondering if anyone has received their Season Tickets package yet for this year. My MLSE Rep, said that tickets were mailed out yesterday - thus, I am hoping some of you have. Anyways, I just want to know what the "Season Ticket Holder Gift" is this year, last year I got a basketball and a Toronto Raptors duffle bag.

I got an email saying that I will get the tickets next week. So we will see.

Usually it's around late Sept to early Oct.

It was mailed out already I think, but it's being shipped from Calgary. The earliest people can expect to recieve it is this Friday (Sept 25). It's more likely you'll get them next week though.

As much of a crime as it is on this board, I have Leaf season tickets and received a digital picture frame, but my collegue received a duffle bag. My seats are downstairs, his are upstairs so not sure if they are sending out gifts depending on the type of seats you have this year.

On the Raps side I have that black duffle bag from probably back in the 02-03 season? and of course last year. I think I have enough duffle bags, so here's hoping for something a bit different this time around.

OP.. check the stickied thread http://www.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=928517&start=150

... and I agree with pdawg... i've got way to many duffle bags over the years... and novelty basketballs... and cheesy replica jerseys... i want something better! :)

[Duke, i'd offer you one of mine, but i don't think you'd appreciate the lingering smell of dirty socks and underwear :P]

The best gift was the Raptors watch with a silver claw on the face. Problem is, no one wears watches anymore.

Nobody wears watches anymore?

I am not sure I agree with that...but I do understand why nobody over the age of 16 would wear a "Raptors watch with a silver claw ont he face"....

If so, i've been looking for one like this for a while. CC, if it's wasting away in your sock drawer collecting dust, i'd definitely be interested in taking it off your hands.

I still wear watches... i guess i'm a nobody" :P

Wow that is one nice watch.

I doubt MLSE gives out such lavish gifts anymore though.

The watch looks nicer than it is. The head is made of plastic so it has a bit of a cheap feel to it. I gave mine to my foreman, he loves it. I prefer leather bands anyways.

As I posted earlier in this post, Leafs sent some SSH's a digital frame - Raptors have done the same. Tickets have arrived earlier than expected for all that wanted to know.
