Jays Board 4th biggest of all MLB boards on RealGM?

Post#1 » by LittleOzzy » Wed Sep 16, 2009 10:54 pm

Looks like we'll soon be moving into 3rd, amazing stuff!

You guys did a great job promoting the board this season and I hope membership continues to climb. We have some stiff competition when it comes to Jays forums online but I think we have done well.

that's great news.... honestly, if this team was winning, this place would be nuts, and super busy.... unfortunately i've lost so much interest in the team..

tsherkin has picked up the slack since the drop-off of interest in like July.

Our series threads were logging in 50+, and now we can barely crack a page, let alone make a series thread on time. What a cocktease April was.

Heh. You can all look forward to me continuing to be a loud-mouthed prat through the off-season and building up to the inevitable buzz of interest as the season nears again in the late winter.

Actually, you know what, I'm never going to use that metaphor ever again, I think I just puked in my mouth a little. :(

Seriously man. After writing the last paragraph you should have just deleted the second one.

I saw that. You should have your mod privileges revoked. You should also consult a psychiatrist and probably look for a religion that caters to your type of human.

Way to turn a family friendly forum into an explicit online atelier, ass.

Bah. I've been watching too many police procedurals; I was infected with a case of gallows humor.

I'm still around the forum, but I've just become more interested in news for next year than I am about wins and loses in another lost season. I'm far more concerned about what the team will look like nex season than I am with the last few weeks of hte year.

You're probably better off not knowing, zilbs. I've been somewhat traumatized since reading that comment. Didn't know something so explicit could be posted by a global mod of all people.

Haha in all seriousness, I was just playin' around with tsherkin. Whatever he said was said slightly in jest, and is now erased from the digital world.

sensei was giving me the business, but it's cool because a) I knew it and b) I deserved it.

It's nothing you need to have read, I really HAVE been watching too many police shows lately. I'm totally neck-deep in the kind of humor most people only use when they'd rather not deal explicitly with what's literally in front of them.

This place was a lot of fun in April and May with the way the team was going, but things declined a bit after the team came crashing back to earth. If i didn't have to work stupid evenings I would have been here more often.

We have a nice group here so hopefully we can have some fun next season and the team does well. Btw Choco i saw your shout out to the Jays board on the Raptors board award thread and i have to say for the Jays board awards i nominate everyone here :)

I would love to do a Jays board award thread, but I think it would look a little sad with so few posters.

I nominate myself for the "Vernon Wells has finally crushed my spirit award".

Hopefully good things to talk about in the offseason (JP let go? New GM search?, Shrewd Halladay deal?, Pitchers on the mend, etc...) and next year with Hill and Lind on an upward trajectory, and Snider joining the nucleus. Then again, next year could be even tougher if Roy is indeed gone...
