Blount trade: what you think?

Post#1 » by latino469 » Thu Sep 24, 2009 9:53 pm

Hey, i don't mean to be a troll or anything but since you guys are bound to trade blount, i wonder if this trade seems fair or not.

Toronto Raptors

Marcus Banks(expiring), Reggie Evan(expiring)+ 2011 1st round pick+cash

for

blount+ rubio

neither banks nor evans are expiring but 2010 be damned! we need PG and PF depth so I don't see how the Wolfies could pass this up. you might have to add a second rounder or two to sweeten it a little.

PG: Banks/Flynn/Sessions/Daniels/Ghost of Chucky
SG: Ellington/Sasha
SF: Gomes/Brewer/Wilkins
PF: Love/Jefferson/Evans/Hollins/Stewie/Gomes/Cardinal
C: Al/ Hollins

i really don't want Banks on our team again as he is less than worthless, and Evans is a waste of a roster space here for a year.

so we swap our unwanted piece of junk, for 2 other pieces of junk and throw in rubio for a 1st rounder that could be in the 20-30 range if the Raptors stay good?

The Wolves wouldn't trade Blount for that pile of trash, much less add in Rubio. You sir are a troll.

Perhaps you don't mean to be a troll, but regardless, you've managed to concoct one terrible trade. I had to walk outside and spit after reading it.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

lol

one thing though, blount is trash also, this isn't about him or banks, evans. It's about money(expiring).
so basically it's our 1st and cash for rubio, who isn't even going to play one game with you guys.

I thought it was bad when I glanced at it.. Blount for all that crap? A 1st is not worth taking on all that dead weight.
Then I saw Rubio was in the deal.. Funny stuff.

As mentioned, Evans and Banks aren't expirings. Throw this trade on the trade board and see what they think of it.

yes Blount is trash, but he's expiring trash, and he only takes up one roster spot.

and if you mean to imply all we will be able to get for Rubio is a really bad 1st round pick you may be a little off on your value.

counteroffer: throw in Bosh since he'll never play for you again and another first, and we'll give you Cardinal

Blount is expiring. Banks and Evans aren't. So basically this becomes a future 1st for Rubio? No thanks. You tried to disguise your pile of garbage as a Blount trade, but failed.

Your response confirms that you're just a troll.

J2J I think you are over reacting. I mean, neither Banks nor Evans are expiring and we do lose Rubio but those things are besides the point. The point is that we make Latino456 ¡contento!

If Banks and Evans were in fact expirings that would make the deal better. Still an easy pass but nowhere near as easy as passing on a trade that sends Rubio out for 10 mil in dead weight and a late 1st.
