How do you feel about Jefferson + Rubio for Granger + Hibbert? If IND adds a 1st?

Pacer fans think that Granger is worth alot more than Al. So to them this is probably a fair deal.
I would have to pass. Although, I wouldn't feel ill if it happened since I would love for Granger to be on the Wolves.

Wasn't there some discussion last week about a deal based around Jefferson and Granger, or am I imagining it?

I like Granger, but I'd rather stick with the big guy.

Its an odd combo. Jefferson and Granger are young, but solid. Hibbert, a pick, and Rubio are rebuilding pieces. It seems directionless to have both sides giving up both types, and taking both types back

I would pass. Mostly it has to do with Rubio and Hibbert being thrown in. I would stick with Rubio who I believe to have a higher ceiling than Hibbert. Plus we're not here to balance out the roster, we can compete in 2010/11 or 2011/12 (depending on when Kahn decides to spend).

This. You make trades to add a piece to your team, not to shuffle the deck for the sake of shuffling. We're not going to trade Al until we figure out how he fits into a new philosophy with new players. We're also not going to trade Rubio with his value as low as it will ever be. It's not a bad proposal but neither team would do it.

Fyi, it makes me sad every time thinking that we could have had Granger (count me as one of the many who were yelling at their tvs when we got Shoddy)

His method was goofy and quirky at first, wasting picks on all those PG's but in the end he seems to have gotten it done.

It won't happen, Indiana loves Granger too much, and we love Jefferson too much.

Also there is too much risk involved since if one of the players breaks out, then the GM who traded him away would be out for sure.

I'd punch a koala if this trade were to happen.

I'd love to pair Granger WITH Jefferson, but that'll never happen.

What if it was:

Jefferson 13M
Hollins 2.3M
J2J 432K

for
Granger 15M
Hibbert 1.8M

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

I think if Indy tosses in a protected future 2nd it's a done deal.
