I would guess he won't need more than the MLE to come over, at least there's not much precedent for it.

You could be right. Something is telling me that he's going to get a better than MLE offer to stay in Europe. In the KFAN interview yesterday, it didn't sound like Kahn and Rambis were even going to start thinking/talking about Pek until the end of the season. That makes it sound like they're not going to purposely be saving cap space greater than the MLE for him. That doesn't mean it isn't going to accidently happen, but I fully expect the Wolves to be taking on 2010 salary at the trade deadline, limiting their cap space options next summer.

Kind of an ideal situation for the Wolves would be trading expirings for our big time wing player at the deadline(hopefully on the cheap with a team that's fallen and needs to save money), thus avoiding the FA competition in the summer, then still having out MLE to sign another player or bring Pek over.

Who are some options as big time players the Wolves could grab, maybe someone that's in a situation like Chris Paul? Team hurting for money, stuck in the middle and in need of a rebuild. Maybe a Caron Butler(wish he were 3 years younger), Andre Iggy(wish he could shoot). Anyone else that fits that criteria?
