Man if LBJ is a 96 he better play like a 96. Last year he played like he was a 101. I swear every time he went to the cup he got every call and finish every and 1. It's fun when you are the one playing with him. Not so much when you have to try and stop it.

They obviously changed the rating system. Rashard Lewis was like 10 points better last season. Guys like Rose, Oden, Durant also got worse.

But even then, most of these ratings are bull. And why did they lower the ratings of all players except for the big four of Kobe, Lebron, Wade and CP3?

My ratings would look like this (considering they lowered the ratings in general) ... old rating in brackets

Kobe Bryant 96 (97)
Lebron James 96
Dwyane Wade 96
Chris Paul 94

Kevin Garnett 89
Deron Williams 89
Dwight Howard 90 (89)
Carmelo Anthony 89 (88)
Tim Duncan 89 (88)
Rajon Rondo 84 (87)
Brandon Roy 89 (87)
Devin Harris 84 (86)
Chauncey Billups 85
Andre Iguodala 84
Danny Granger 84
Tony Parker 85 (84)
Chris Bosh 85 (84)
Al Jefferson 84
Gilbert Arenas 86 (84) ... but we don't know of course
Joe Johnson 84 (83)
Dirk Nowitzki 88 (83)
Kevin Durant 85 (82)
Amare Stoudemire 85 (82)
Baron Davis 82
Shaquille O’Neal 81
Stephen Jackson 81
Derrick Rose 83 (80)
Jason Kidd 84 (80)
Steve Nash 84 (80)
Gerald Wallace 79 (78)
Tayshaun Prince 79 (77)
Tracy McGrady 82-84 (77)
Richard Jefferson 78 (76)
Michael Redd 78 (76)
Rashard Lewis 80 (76)
Greg Oden 78 (74)

Manu Ginobili 83
Vince Carter 84 (81)
Ray Allen 83 (80)
OJ Mayo 78
Jason Terry 78
Rip Hamilton 79 (78)
Ben Gordon 78
Paul Pierce 86 (84)
Caron Butler 82 (83)
Ron Artest 80
Rudy Gay 78
Carlos Boozer 84
Pau Gasol 84
Emeka Okafor 79
Lamarcus Aldridge 79 (77)
Brook Lopez 77
Al Horford 78 (76)
Nene 78 (76)
Jermaine O'Neal 75
Marcus Camby 75 (74)
Andrew Bynum 78 (74)
Andris Biedrins 78 (74)

--> Top 18:
Kobe 96
LeBron 96
Wade 96
Paul 94
Howard 90
KG 89
Duncan 89
Roy 89
D-Will 89
Melo 89
Dirk 88
Pierce 86
Arenas 86

Why do people get worked up about an overall rating that means absolutely nothing? I'd much rather bitch about individual ratings than whose overall is higher.

Was Rajon Rondo part of the ratings team or did he just have embarrassing/incriminating pictures of whoever made those ratings?

It's been a while since I played the 2k series because I don't have a next gen console but does the improved ranking still have that annoying, you can't modify the clutch stat, which makes it impossible for even 99 overall short players to shoot at least like Steve Kerr on harder settings?

No coach. No GM. Probably no star. I swear, in my 23 years of following this team, I can't name a stranger time than this moment to be a supporter of the Magic.

Haha, I have severe problems with him being 7 pts higher than Nash and Kidd.

If you put either of those two guys on the Celtics team in Rondo's place... I mean, that thought alone should end the arguement, right?

Is age a factor?
