Third PG Possibilities

Post#1 » by Klomp » Fri Sep 25, 2009 11:50 pm

Daniels is gone, so who are we looking at for the 3rd PG?

My possibilities:

Bobby Jackson
Tyronn Lue
Jason Hart
Blake Ahearn

Lue and Jackson are both Andy Miller clients, as is Chucky Atkins. I can't imagine that hurting at all.

His method was goofy and quirky at first, wasting picks on all those PG's but in the end he seems to have gotten it done.

seriously... Thud might fit the need. Doesn't have to do anything, just stand out there for 8min a game and fire up a couple shots from range. but the thought of having him again kinda makes me a sad panda.

Thud is a bad spot up shooter. he shoots off the dribble and that is not what we want.

for clean up min behind Sessions and Flynn we could probably bring Gary Payton out of retirement and he could fill that need. All we need is someone who is a threat to hit a shot. I don't envision there being much more than 8 spare PG min a game.

I wouldn't mind going into the season with only Flynn and Sessions

If one of them or both are injuried we can still sign some d-league guy but I don't think it is necessary to think about a 3rd pg now...and we still have Antonio Daniels on the roster...

wow you're fast, i was already on it to edit the Joradan part. i wasn't sure what he did after the summer league. hawks also have a stack of PG's wouldn't be too hard to pry Wilks away.

mnWI, you're probablythe guy to ask about such things.

Who would be your top three recommendations?
