I'm going to count this as Randolph's 1st season (there's no question he would have been a starter on any young team with a low winning % other than Nellie) since this is the first season he gets to start and he's only 20 years old (should be in college another 2 or 3 years). I'll include 2nd year for a few as well.
Points & Rebounds (1st year and 2nd for some)
Tim Duncan - 21,12
Charles Barkely - 14, 8.6
Dirk - 8.2, 3.4 1st, 17.5, 6.5 2nd
KG - 10.4, 6.3 1st, 17, 8 2nd
Chris Bosh - 11.5, 7.4 1st, 16.8, 8.9 2nd
Boozer 10, 7.5 1st, 15.5, 11.4 2nd
Amare - 13.5, 8.8 1st, 20.6, 9.0 2nd
My prediction for Randolph this season: 18 & 9 (maybe 10), but I'll go 9 to be on the safe side.
I don't know or care what Beasley does.

This is how Randolph gets so ridiculously overrated. You are comparing him to hall of famers like Dirk, KG, Barkley, and say that "on the safe side" he will put up superior stats in his sophomore season. This is GREAT! Why didn't you include Magic Johnsons 2nd year stats? Or Brons?
I also enjoy how he gets a mulligan for his rookie season, because now he finally "gets" to start. AWESOME!
2nd years are listed too, you can't see? Compare those if you like.
Just because he shoots 46%, and on a per basis averages 15.9 and 11.6 and his coach doesn't play him on a 29 win team can't be all his fault, can it? Someone do the per numbers with the rest of these guys. Dirk scored only 8.2 (compared to 7.9) in significantly more minutes his first year, but that of course doesn't count. This is supposed to be a comparison board isn't it?
I'm beginning to think that some of you guys are just plain jealous.
