CHANCE TO GET BACK RARA

Post#1 » by sunsfan3 » Sat Sep 26, 2009 10:23 pm

"The Bobcats are continuing to shop veteran guard Raja Bell, according to Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski.

"The Bobcats Raja Bell continues to be shopped around the league, GM's say. No doubt he'd love to get back to a contender," Wojnarowski wrote on his Twitter page.

Bell averaged 13 points, 4 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in 45 appearances with Charlotte last season after being dealt by Phoenix."

THIS IS A PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO BRING RAJA BACK TO THE DESERT! HE PLAYED GREAT IN THE RUN-N-GUN SYSTEM AND NOW THAT ALVIN IS OUR HEAD COACH, RAJA CAN DO THAT AGAIN!
HE HAD ONE OF THE HIGHEST THREE POINT PERCENTAGES DURING D'aNTONI'S ERA!
PLUS, WE COULD REALLY USE THE DEFENSE.

I say we trade:

1) Gorgan Dragic
2) Alando Tucker

or

1) Alando Tucker
2) Earl Clark

or

1) Louis Amundson

for Raja Bell!!

if we go with trade #1, we can push Leandro back to the one spot off the bench. if we go with trade #2, we can use Louis Amundson at the backup PF. if we go with trade #3, we can use Earl Clark at the backup PF.

any thoughts?

Bobcats Continue To Shop Raja Bell

Post#2 » by WTFsunsFTW » Sat Sep 26, 2009 10:33 pm

http://basketball.realgm.com/src_wireta ... raja_bell/

Anyone else mulling this one over?

Raja LOVED phoenix and nash LOVED raja. Would bringing him back put a spark back in nash to play at his elite level again?

Raja's performance here last suffered due to his clashing with porter. Would Raja be back to his old tenacious self when back in phoenix under gentry?

JRich/Lopez/Tucker for Chandler/Bell

Throw in Cleveland's 2010 2nd rounder and we roll out:

Nash/Dragic
Bell/Barbs
Hill/Dudley
Amare/Frye/Clark
Chandler/Amundson

Charlotte gets younger and two fresh guys who could really flourish under Larry Brown

Felton/Augustine
JRich/Henderson/Tucker
Wallace/Radmonovic
Diaw/Brown
Diop/Lopez/Mohammed/Alexis Ajinca

Earl Clark for Bell????!!!?!?!?!?!?!!?!!?!??!?

Are u effing out of your mind? I think you should get banned for that statement.

Why would Suns trade an upcoming (potential) starter of the future for an aging veteran with only a few years of basketball left in him?

Even the last season Raja was in Phoenix he was clearly not himself. The concept of Raja losing his ability due to age is already understood and without said. That's why Bobcats are shopping him because like Phoenix, they too know Raja is done for good.

Don't u remember the million times you screamed at the TV screen when Raja missed a shot and made poor defensive players for the Suns in 2007-2008?

And u wanna give u your best youngster for him?

Wow.

Stupid trade. Not real.

Why would Bobcats, who have same coach who made the the trade, want JRich back?

Larry Brown specifically wanted JRich out of there because he did not fit the system, he did not follow directions, and frankly, he cannot drive a vehicle correctly.

Why in the world would Brown want JRich back as his starting shooting guard again?

And secondly,

Robin Lopez is better than Tyson Chandler at this point.

Lopez has potential, more speed, and is more athletic than damaged-goods Chandler. We already discussed the injury concerns with Chandler in the offseason and Suns were ready to trade Wallace for Chandler, but realized he was damaged goods.

Why would Suns trade Lopez (potential) for a large contract who has CHRONIC injury problems?????????

Stupid stupid stupid...

I'd like to see Bell go back to Phoenix, I think there's good chemistry there, but this trade wouldn't work.

I'd like to see Bell go back to Phoenix, I thought he always fit in well with Nash.

this is exactly why i think the SUNS GM is stupid...
this is just another perfect opportunity for good chemistry, offense, AND defense on to the suns... but of course, he's gonna pass this one up too...

It takes two to tango. Just cause we like it doesnt mean the Charlotte FO will do it. plus salary wise tuck and a pick for rara just doesnt work.

Raja back in a PHX uni would be amazing...especially if we could get Chandler too(but no way they trade the guy they just traded their franchise player for)

Enough with the Tyson Chandler talk please, he's not that good and always injured... Get over it. I like the Rafer Alston deal better than Raja. J-Rich isn't that good but he's better than Bell

I don't want Bell back. He is over rated and too streaky.

Listen... the Bobcats are shopping Bell. That should tell you all you need to know.

What's their current depth at SG? Bell and Henderson...?! If they are legitimately shopping their starting SG, there is a reason... and it's NOT becuase they are deep at that spot...

Think...

Besides, SG is the LAST position we need to worry about.

the only way to get bell back is to trade barbosa. the bobcats don“t want j-rich back.
i would hate a trade barbs for bell. that sucks, raja is done, if we trade some players than i hope we trade for a center.

Props to the great one

Yes everyone would love to have RaRa back but I would never trade any of our 1st picks for an older Raja, except for Tucker. I say we send Tucker and Taylor Griffin to CHA for an older Raja. Highly unlikely but man would it be sweet to not give up much and get Raja back in PHX.

wouldn't you love to have this back?
