Washington Trade Idea

Post#1 » by rl25g » Sun Sep 27, 2009 2:22 pm

I stole this idea from the Wiz board http://www.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=918102&start=615 and was wondering what Houston fans thought about it

Jamison and Stevenson

for

Battier, Landry, and Cook

gives you guys starters at SG and PF while balancing out our lineup

thoughts?

Jamison's contract runs for 11+ million this season, 13+ million next season and 15+ million the season after that. Way too big of a commitment for Houston to consider especially when a "starting power forward" isn't something we're looking for (we have one - he's good).

Stevenson is a scrub so no thanks, Jamison is good but not what we need to take a step forward.

if jamison had a smaller contract sure, but he doesnt. deshawn is bad when there's no playmaker, thats wat happened when arenas wasnt there. w/ arenas he can play, or w/ a playmaker he can play. also can do some point guard. but nah jamision is too expensive.
