Whoa. WAIT. Let's not get Crazy after the Yankees whipped Dice-K (6+ ERA 3-6) and Byrd (who came out of retirement to replace Wakefield).

This isn't quite the same as whipping Pedro Martinez in his prime.

Truth is, the Red Sox don't give a **** about the AL title. They're just as comfortable facing the Angels as they are the AL Central.

If you're comfortable facing the Angels in the opening round, I got 2 different years of post season failure to show you.

Yeah they'll be comfortable when everyone in the angels lineup steal all those bases against Varitek..

This is provided the Angels can get guys on base. The Sawx know the Angels inside and out. They know exactly how to beat them...not in the early innings coming from behind. That is a VERY big key for them.

Return to New York Yankees
