Just because he's in camp, doesn't mean he'll be the third PG......but sounds like an OK get.

His latest tweet:

"Just got to Minnesota. Camp starts tomm. Everything happens for a reason. If one door closes another one opens. Time to get busy"

Sounds like we got him. He sure can shoot, that's about all I know about him.

He can shoot, I like the idea for scrap minutes. Watched several games and if this is true it seems reasonable.

Hes on our training camp roster, but it doesnt mean he'll be on the opening day roster though is what I'm saying.

Bobby Jackson would be a good fit, but really all I hope for out of our third PG is a veteran who is fine with his role.

I was thinking the same thing. With all the stacked teams this year, all the 3rd string vets want a championship instead of the mentor role. Is Mateen Cleeves still functional?

Mateen would be a decent option. i also wouldn't mind seeing if Keith McCleod could play cleanup for us also.

For whatever it's worth, I thought he was a sure 1st round pick. He's one of the few guys that can beat Ellington and Curry in a 3 point shooting contest. He's got a few holes, but he's a very solid bench shooter.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
