You mean to tell me he is quicker on defense than Shaq right now, because if not then he is going to have the same friggin problem on defense on the pick and roll like Shaq did witch is what killed us on defense. Hell he would give us the same defensive problems, with maby a quarter (if luckey) of the scoring that Shaq brought, NO BUENO :noway: you might as well bring back sorry @$$ Oliver Miller if all you want is someone to lay a body on people and hard fouls. Wasn't Mark Blount just cut?

Excellent point - we can't have a centre who's vulnerable to the p'n'r

You guys are right about the p'n'r defense. The big cheese ('ost' is cheese in Norwegian) won't probably do us much good but we still need a defensive big more than another hustle wing player. If not for playing time then just to pad our average height and weight stats for added confidence against the Suns are small and soft label. Too bad Oliver Miller and Steven Hunter didn't work out for us long term.

The suns need to find a project (and Lopez isnt it, he is expected to play right now). They need to look for a young big, maby over seas or even arround here (D-league or where ever), that is big, has good feet, and is a good to decent athlete, and make it a point to teach him everything else. But he has to be young, all the older ones in this catagory, have proven that they aint going to learn new tricks. But the intangibles has to be BIG, and ATHLETIC, big and slow should be an automatic no.

Someone like Speights, Hibbert, McGee or DeAndre Jordan perhaps? All taken after Robin Lopez in the 2008 draft. I still haven't written him off as a rotation player though. It takes a bit longer to learn the center (and pg) position than the others.

Horacio Llamas was a BEAST. Luc Longley was the "doctor of hoopology"....please tell me somebody else saw that video when they were growing up? I just remember watching some video in 3rd grade that was narrated by Luc Longley. They showed it to us in PE and he introduced himself as the aforementioned title.

anyone remember the Jordan Johnney Killroy Nike commercials where he is in all these obscure leagues still playing, well there is a D-league team with a 7"0 white guy, huge head, and slow feet, i would swear its Luc Longley, I think his name is Buck Bongley, you should check him out, hes horrible.

That's just an indication of how bored I am with off-season.

Hey, in a world where Todd McCulloch is a pro pinball player, Buck Bongley makes all kinds of sense
