2010 CLE 1st
Total salaries = $12,970,074
Salaries obviously work

Utah accepts - Hickson is a pretty good prospect, the late first rounder will come in handy - but mostly this is the best value I can get for Boozer, after trying every team in the league, and I prefer picking up these assets to trying to play a season with Boozer and Millsap sharing PF and then losing him for nothing.

24.60750575>24.155319

The wizards do this because they like the combination of skill, intangibles and salary flexability that manu provides. We also get a young guard that we really like.

Memphis waives Bobby Jackson, Tim Thomas

The Memphis Grizzlies and OKC Thunder have agreed to the following:

Memphis will send:

Carmelo Anthony - 15,779,912

OKC Thunder send:

Kevin Durant - 4,796,880
Eddy Curry - 10,500,423

We didn't like the direction we were heading...so we decided to go a little younger. Kevin Durant is a star in the making and should be a perfect fit next to Rose. We're also one of the few teams who believe that curry may finally be in game shape.

The Memphis Grizzlies and Sacramento Kings have agreed to the following:

Memphis will send:

Mehmet Okur - $9,000,000

***Under the cap - Deal works.

Sac-town sends:

Jared Jeffries - 6,466,600
Amir Johnson - 3,941,667
Demar Derozan - 2,282,640

Total = 12690907

This deal gets us even younger...We lose Okur but get a young SG in Derozan.

honestly, this trade was my last resort at getting a big guy. Okur is a very serviceable starting C and since I need shooting he fits in quite well with my team. As much as I love DeRozan hes just to much of a ??????? to put money on him. He has no handles and cant shoot the 3 well, I dont really see him being great in the NBA. Dumping Jeffries deal was a big part of this trade.

San and Por have a blockbuster to annouce.

Joel Przybilla $6,857,725
Chris Duhon $6,031,800
Brandon Roy $3,910,816

for

Joe Johnson $14,976,754
Al Horford $4,307,640

Why for us? When we traded for Horford we knew were were going to be packaging him with someone else to get an elite player, a superstar. Horford is a great rebuilding piece but thats not what we're doing here. In Roy we get a top 4 player in terms of value, a young (only 24) superstar locked up to a great contract for 5 or 6 more years, and only making 13 mill next season. We now have that guy that can matchup with Kobe and Wade, we love Joe but feel that he fades in the playoffs and we couldn't have that. We also add one of the best interior defenders in the league in Billa and a 6 mill exp, and a great backup PG in Duhon. Odom will slide to the startin PF spot with Gasol at C. Or we may start Bill not sure yet. Anyways nice dealing POR.

Isn't Roy PPP? :P if yes this trade doesn't work his salary should be a lot more than $3,910,816.

shouldn't it be the average salary of all 7 years of the contract (about 15 mil)?

Ok this PPP thing is confusing but if need be we can take out Duhon from Por's side of the deal if Roy's salary counts for 8 mill. Also didn't the commish say that PPP doesn't apply? I could be wrong though not sure. If Duhon is taken out does it work?

Ok I checked and the commish didn't say he'd waive the PPP, if there are any teams with caproom that are willing to take an expiring contact me (allstar_1264@hotmail.com) or Por. I'll add some minor incentive, and your caproom for 2010 wouldn't be effected. Also if the commish sees this and is willing to waive this ridicules poison pill rule for the sake of the game, please tell us. Thanks..

actually think he said the exact opposite that all guys signing extensions would be PPl guys because he didn't think they should easily be traded. And I believe it counts as 15 coming in(for SAS) and 7.5 going out (for Por)

Orl you have a TPE big enough to take in Duhon (exp) right? Would you take in Duhons expiring, and I'll throw in MIA 2011 1st? Would- SAS incoming (Roy,Billa), Por incoming (Horford,JJ), ORL incoming Duhon, MIA 1st 2011?

OKC accepts. We liked what Melo was able to do last year, and although we felt Durant was a great player, losing Curry helps us with value.
