Suns Rotation 2009-10

Post#1 » by Qwigglez » Mon Sep 28, 2009 9:57 pm

I know we had one of these topics over the summer, but since its close to the start of the season, I'd like to hear everyone's opinion on the rotation and how minutes will be divided up.

After hearing, and reading a bunch of interviews with coaches, players, etc, this is my prediction on Suns rotation.

Ideal Rotation
Point Guard
Steve Nash- 30 minutes Goran Dragic- 14 minutes Leandro Barbosa- 4 minutes
Shooting Guard
Jason Richardson- 28 minutes Leandro Barbosa- 20 minutes
Small Forward
Grant Hill-28 minutes Jared Dudley-18 minutes Earl Clark- 2 minutes
Power Forward
Amare Stoudemire-24 minutes Channing Frye-12 minutes Earl Clark-12 minutes
Center
Channin Frye-12 minutes Amare Stoudemire-12 minutes Louis Amundson-12 minutes Robin Lopez-12 minutes

Realistic Rotatioin
Steve Nash-32 Goran Dragic-8 Leandro Barbosa-8
Jason Richardson-32 Leandro Barbosa-16
Grant Hill-29 Jared Dudley-19
Amare Stoudemire-38 Earl Clark-10
Channing Frye-28 Louis Amundson-12 Robin Lopez-8

What are your opinions.

Also, what do you guys think the Suns scoring average will be this year too..?

i see ur Realistic rotation happening
as for scoring averages

Nash - 16.9ppg
jrich - 20.2ppg
Hill - 12.5ppg
Stat - 24.3ppg
Frye - 14.2ppg

suns average 129.3 ppg? lol

i think its very possible for them to average that amount of points. they averaged 118 when gentry took over without amare, now we got frye.... amare said at media day when he answered the question what will the suns average during the season he said just add ten after the 118ppg from last season with gentry lol

I agree with pretty much all of the rotations as potential rotations during games, so I won't post mine, because they'll be very close to everyone else's. I'll just post PPG

Nash: 15
JRich: 20
Hill: 9
Amare: 25
Frye: 9

Dragic: 5
LB: 17
Dudley: 6
Clark: 6
Lou: 4
Lopez: 4

Total: 120PPG

Not that I would ever doubt such an informed fellow as yerself, but doesn't that add up to 130 pts per game?
