Around The NHL

Post#1 » by WEFFPIM » Thu Oct 1, 2009 7:27 pm

Rejoice, fellow puckheads, the regular season starts tonight. I learned this from the ESPN Bottomline. They are very knowledgeable about the hockey and the what not.

Four games tonight including a good one in Caps-Bruins. The always fun rivalries of Canadiens-Leafs and Flames-Canucks also gets underway tonight. And the much anticipated matchup of...Sharks...Avalanche...

Game on, friends. Game the f*** on.

Fairly quick whistle there.

Sloppy power play by Washington before it was wiped out by another penalty.

Very nice penalty kill by Washington. No oppurtunity for Boston to even get a shot.

First goal of the year goes to Brooks Laich.

There will be a quiz in April. And oh how I've missed Joe Beninati's helium filled play-by-play

This is some of the sloppiest hockey I've ever seen.

And there's the first Foster's commercial I've seen in like five years.

Will be taking a break to watch FlashForward and Fringe. Will be catching the second game though.

Also, I got the NHL TV deal free for a little while, not sure how long though.

I'm getting a three day trial of the NHL Network starting at midnight.

They enjoy their Canada teams on the NHL Network.

The Bruins look terrible. Almost as bad as the Bucks.

What a great night. The Bruins get destroyed by the Caps and the Habs make Komisarek look like a ****ing fool for trying to be over-aggressive all night.

:jawdrop:

No one can look THAT bad.

Now, help me out twirl, what should I expect from the Wild and the Preds this season? Because frankly, I'm not expecting much from either.

I don't expect either to be in the playoffs, but I don't think the Predators will be nearly as bad as the experts say they will be.

This is crap. I'm in Mississippi, have a Mac so finding a site that streams for Macs is hard, the internet is slow and the Pens play tomorrow. My life may end.

I have a site. I don't know if it works for Mac, but I can't post the link on here.

Bah!

Both caps I took in the fantasy draft lit it up against my bruins. That's like kicking me in the balls then giving me a slice of pizza.

Well, it could be worse, you could have had pizza ripped away from you after your ball-kickage.
