Lakers are 1 of 2 teams Paul Pierce has his eye on

Post#1 » by Anklebreaker702 » Fri Oct 2, 2009 7:34 pm

Found this on the GB

Rivers has already come out and said the Lakers are a better team, and were a better team last season, and Paul Pierce has already acknowledged that he will circle four games -- the two against the Lakers (Jan. 31 at home and Feb. 18 on the road) and the two on the road against Cleveland (opening night, Oct. 27, and Sunday, March 14) as measuring stick nights by which the Celtics will learn whether they really are as good as they believe they are.

Homeboy needs to stop talking so much.

Also, shouldn't he be paying attention to the Magic as well? They are the defending conference champs.
Thank you, Phil.

The only thing he should have his eye on is the blank green banner cause they are going to shoot themselves in the foot after that jinx.

God I hope we can meet the Celtics in the Finals this coming year. I can't think of a more satisfying victory. Another title is great, but this **** is personal.

I cosign on that. Truth is you only bump ya gums when you're not quite sure how you stack up, so he's mentally psyching his self out to make his self feel better.

Ya Paulin really likes to draw attention to himself doesnt he?

He went from proclaiming himself to be the best player in the UNIVERSE without giving credit to the rest of his teammates like Ray and K.G for their part in their championship, to "If we were healthy and if K.G wasnt injured and we would've won last year" WHAT A DOUCHE BAG.

I have to admit, I think by far he is the biggest ahole I have ever seen in the histroy of sports. The guy simply cant STFU and play his game. I mean he aint ish, and his knee injury in the finals and then coming back like ROCKY BALBOA was it for me.

You guys want Celtics for revenge or are you really purists and just like another Lakers vs Celtics?
I mean beating Lebron and Shaq seems so much sweeter to me.

His L.A. pass is forever revoked as well. Being from L.A. (Compton to be specific) my heart will always be there. Even had I made it to the NBA, you would't have caught me ever yelling "Beat LA, Beat LA, little B****

I mean you proclaim yourself the best, but K.G goes down then your what, the second best player on your team? K.G is the best player on the Cs, Paul doesnt even come close to K.G or Ray. Those two guys are the anchors of the Cs team and heart. They are the reason that the Cs are successful and K.Gs injury proved to everyone that without K.G the Cs and Paulina aint ish.

They better hope that his knees doesnt buckle or he does'nt reinjur himself, cause if they do then all they are are a second round team and even then they will lose to the Magic or the Cavs, even with Sheed they are still a second round team without K.G.

I'm with you TM, talk is cheap! I want to beat these guys so bad in the Finals that I can't describe it. Its almost inconceiveable that we haven't beat them in the Finals since Magic, Kareem, & Worthy.

+1. The time will be near to give the Celtics what they have coming to them and their arrogant fans.
