When are the season tickets mail?

Post#1 » by esoteric001 » Fri Sep 25, 2009 11:34 pm

It was late last year because of the printing BS. I was hoping to have them to give my friend on her birthday 10/10.

Anyone?

That would be good. Ticket day is a fun day around my house.

Good, I was hoping I wouldn't have to print out tickets to the pre-season games again.

yeah last year was horrid! I think or more accurately HOPE the front office was so embarrassed by that fiasco that it wont ever happen again.

i cannot wait, ticket day rules and makes the season seem real

I just recieved my tickets. They look pretty good. Of course anything is better than last years debacle. Anyway I'm looking forward to the first pre-season game to see how much I will like my new seats. I made the move downstairs this summer and I hope I don't regret it because I loved the seats I had upstairs.

i'm still in my 5 dollar nosebleeds again. woo hoo. :) i only went to about 20 games last year, so i better stick with the cheap ones. getting to those weekday games after working in fort mill is just a pain in the grrr... man i wish they would move that start to 7:30.

i am in the cheap seats too i am in the 15 dollar seats. i did get to move to row A1 this year after two seats opened up. the tradable games look good, i saw knicks, magic and a saturday game vs gs! i already traded a bunch of the weekday seats for gs tix. i am gonna take the office and get some goodwill, karma. i live i tega cay so i feel your pain on the 7 starting time! it is hard to get home and to the game by 7. most of the time i have to skip dinner, which i should do anyway. 730 would be awesome!

Fats that is seriously one of the best deals in sport. They'd have to kick me out before I gave a package like that up.

I can't remember but didn't we go to 7:30 games one year and then went right back to 7pm the next?

yeah, i will never give up those 5 dollar seats as long as they still offer that deal. i still really enjoy watching the games from my seats. even when that place is empty i always chill in my seats. i guess i just like it up there. of course, when i get the company tix (center court lower level) thats really amazing. kinda like going from HD back to regular cable.

i got my tix yesterday.

esoteric - do you work in charlotte? if so, do you come all the way back to SC and then go back to charlotte for the games? i live in charlotte but work in fort mill, but i have to stop by the house on my way to the games which makes it tough. plus i work 9:30 to 6:30 which is even tougher. i usually sneak out of work around 6ish on the nights i am going to games and its still a struggle to make it to my seats by tipoff.

and of course, when i get to the game there is always a 50% some dbag is sitting in my seats. i have aisle seats and i guess people are just too fat and lazy to move down to their real seats so they just plop down in mine.... all the time. "oh lordy, i'm so tired from walking up 20 steps, i cant make it to seat 6, gotta sit down in seat 1. oh lordy i'm so tired"

I always had the same problem. My seats were the first ones you see when you turn to go up the stairs and they are the only two seats on the row so everybody tries to sit in them.

i work near the corner of munn and 160, very close to i-77 and 160. there is a bilo at the intersection of munn and 160, close to fort mill high school. there are some brand new office buildings at the corner of munn and kingley park, thats where i work.

i sometimes go home through indianland. we play bball at the leroy springs complex once a week. on those days i take 160 out to 521 and take 521 back into charlotte.

I live right off of the intersection of 160 and 521 where those two gas stations are. I used to go to Leroy Springs all the time to play ball with my fort mill friends. I probably saw you up there one time and didnt recognize you haha

When I come home from college one time I'll have to come up there and see how the alien does it :D

i am a consultant so i am different places. if i am in town, i just grab dinner with whomever is going with me and head to twca. those are the good days, the bad days are when i work in ft mill or the rock. time ishort those days.

i was a BIG FAN of using LYNX later in the season when the weather was ok. i park at 485 station at 620 and the train arrives at TWCA 650ish. perfect! plus i get home fast and dont pay those crazy parking fees! some of which are higher than my tix!

i never pay more than 5 bucks for parking.... of course my tix face value is like 4.60 so parking is always more expensive. i love the bobcats parking situation. its a million times better than trying to go to hornets games back in 1989-1997. thats was an absolute nightmare. it took forever to get in and out of that parking lot. i remember some games it took 30+ minutes to get from the parking lot to the intersection of i-77 and tyvola.
