Orlando trade away all expirings to get a solid defensive and banging backup C, and alot of international talent which I personally like to collect. This move shave a little more off of our lux tax number in 2009 and lets us upgrade from a late 2011 2nd to a mid 2011 1st. Well worth the 2010 money we are taking in

EDIT: THIS CREATES A TPE FOR ORLANDO OF $1,501,386

Why for LA?
- And we thought Luke Walton was not movable....LOL We get two of Cleveland original starters, and two very solid bench guys by only moving our overpaid 6th man, and a huge deadweight in Luke. AV will be huge in helping our big men out with his huslte play, and West although troubled, does alot of the things Rip does, but at a fraction of the price. We just read that he is back in mini camp in RL, so we know hell be ready to go. The picks are nothing and the min. players are nothing. Love the deal for our team. Good dealing with you Cleveland and good luck, it only took a week to get the deal done this time!

Also, We will be putting Daniel "Boobie" Gibson on the block looking for a team with a TPE to absorb him, or a team under the cap to take him. If we cant find a team for that he will be placed on the block. Get at me Cantmesswithness8 @ yahoo . com

Reaccepting the deal. As previously mentioned consolidate talent and upgrade in 2 spot. Hate Walton's contract but I love his BBIQ.

Took a month to close a deal with pal. Man, your so hard to deal with this time. :D

SAS and BOS have a blockbuster to annouce.

Lamar Odom - $7,500,000
Al Horford - $4,307,640
James Jones - $4,330,000
Grant Hill - $3,000,000
MIA 2011 1st

for

Kevin Garnett $16,417,044
Nate Robinson $3,551,994
J.R. Giddens $1,028,880

Reasoning?

Image

I get my answer to Duncan out West and Howard out east, KG is an elite defensive anchor and his perimeter game on offense compliment Gasols post game down low nicely. Gasol played most of his minutes at the C spot last year with Odom at PF and with KG anchoring the D we like the combo a lot. Gasol/KG in the frontcourt with JJ/Billups in the backcourt and Prince being my superglue guy.. I think we can win a chip this year. Nate Robinson is a nice 6th man for me.

Accepted. Sick of having Garnett on my team, his injury isn't completely healed still, and I like Horford/Hill. Got rid of Robinson to shed some long term salary.

Boston was unsure of Nate's salary past this year so here it is...

2010/11 - $3,703,950
2012/13 - $4,055,909
2013/14 - $4,407,868
2014/15 - $4,759,827

and 09/10 is actually $3,351,994 not $3,551,994

To All GMs...

Time to decide on QOs and TOs. If you will NOT be extending a QO or TO to a player send me an email letting me know as much.

If I do not receive an email then I will assume that you HAVE extended the QO/TO to players that have one.

SAS and DEN have a trade to announce.

Nate Robinson - $3,351,994
Jason Maxiell - $5,000,000

for

J.R. Smith - $6,108,426
Malik Allen - $1,300,000

While Nate Robinson is a great spark off the bench, we felt that Maxiell was overpaid and that J.R Smith was a piece that was worth considerably hurting our bench for. He is 23 or 24 and has allstar upside.

Confirmed.

Smith was a good player for us, but he also came with his own issues, not the least of which being he was to be stuck playing behind Kevin Martin for the next decade if he stayed.

Nate Robinson ensures that we don't lose any scoring or excitement off the bench with the loss of Smith, and Maxiell allows us to bolster our depth up front. These are two young players that fit very well with this team's promising future.

I think you're incorrect.

We only have to decide on TOs now (before the season) for rookie-scale contracts.

QOs and other TOs aren't decided until after the season.

Correct.

QOs can be rescinded at any time. The only reason I listed them was so some GMs might start thinking about extending some of their players.

I will edit my original posts.

To All GMs...

I am reposting this to clear up any confusion.

Time to decide on TOs for you rookie scale contracts. If you will NOT be extending a TO to a player send me an email letting me know as much.

If I do not receive an email then I will assume that you HAVE extended the TO to players that have one.

QOs do not need to be decided on yet and can be rescinded at any time. Feel free to send me an extension offer on one of those players if so desired.

EXTRA INFO - Players with QOs have different numbers for their respective cap holds. Check the link below to see how much a particular player counts as.

FA cap holds

also any open roster spots below 12 will count as $475,000 cap hold

The San Antonio Spurs, and New York Knicks have agreed upon a trade.

The Knicks send 2011 Knicks 2nd Rounder, 2012 Knicks 1st, Emeka Okafor ($10,647,500), Monta Ellis, ($11,000,000), Rasual Buter ($3,945,000), Chuck Hayes ($2,147,750) and Dajaun Blair ($850,000) for Pau Gasol ($16,452,000), Joey Graham ($800,000) and JR Smith ($6,171,426).

Knicks Outgoing/Spurs Incoming: $28,590,250
Spurs Outgoing/ Knicks Incoming: $23,423,425 X 1.25 = $29,279,282

Knicks accept, we were bored, and get a SG that fits better next to Jameer, and one of the best big man in the league in Gasol. We give up a lot of depth, and two picks, which was real concerning for us, along with two of our integral pieces in Monta/Okafor, but like what Smith, and Gasol bring to the table.

Confirmed. It was only a matter of time b4 me and TMac made a blockbuster. With KG on board we wanted a more natural C, and we get one of the best defensive C's in the league in Okafor, who doesn't need many touchs on offense and can guard the Duncan's and Howard's of the world. We love what Ellis brings to the table, with JJ's playmaking skills we like Ellis was our 6th man and PG of the future when Billups retires. Or until we make another trade. Meh.
