These polls are such jokes, Oklahoma still ranked? Wow.

Wisconsin>Oklahoma

Boise should drop

These rankings are becoming more and more laughable by the week, though it is great to see USF in there.

My opinions:

- Should've kept Houston in and dropped OU.
- VaTech is nowhere near a top five team. Any program with the talent level that they have should beat Duke by 30, not 8.
- I'm very intrigued by this Auburn team. Their matchup in Death Valley in three weeks should be extremely entertaining if they don't slip up against Arkansas or Kentucky.
- I'm not sure which conference is more disappointing: the Big Ten, Big 12 or the Pac 10.
- I'm putting money on Florida losing next weekend in Baton Rouge. It is not gonna be a pretty sight.

The correct answer is the SEC. Let's review:

-Florida has not played like a top-25 team all season
-LSU has played like a top-15 team but hardly deserving of any accolades
-Ole Miss isn't even on the level of South Carolina (a terrible team) and won't play any major competition this year
-Georgia has looked abysmal outside of A.J. Green, who is the next superstar NFL wide receiver

A mediocre conference from top to bottom. Right now, the Pac-10 looks like the best conference in the nation, followed by the ACC, Big XII and Big East (all who have at least one team that can do some damage), followed by the SEC, then the Big Eleven.

As for the poll itself, eh. I'd swap out the other SC and put in Stanford, and maybe change a few teams around the No. 10 range, but it's OK.

That's funny, but wrong

-LSU has played like a top-15 team but hardly deserving of any accolades

I am an LSU diehard. I agree on this.

-Ole Miss isn't even on the level of South Carolina (a terrible team) and won't play any major competition this year

They'll play LSU, Alabama, Arkansas, and Auburn just in their division. That's plenty of competition by anybody's standards.

-Georgia has looked abysmal outside of A.J. Green, who is the next superstar NFL wide receiver

The SEC East is weak this year. Green looks amazing.

A mediocre conference from top to bottom. Right now, the Pac-10 looks like the best conference in the nation, followed by the ACC, Big XII and Big East (all who have at least one team that can do some damage), followed by the SEC, then the Big Eleven.[/quote]

Funny again......

lol, you've said some (Please Use More Appropriate Word) things before but this takes the cake

anyways tcu should be higher, they're as good or better than boise, id hate to see them get screwed over if they go undefeated b/c boise is seen in a better light (remember tcu beat boise last year) but gary pattersons teams normally blows 1 game a year (utah game last year where the kicker f*cked up) so it could all be moot

So what's wrong with the Pac-10 then? USC looks like a national title contender, Oregon has improved every week, Stanford is very good, and Oregon State is not to be counted out.

USC is not a title contender barring a freak season like 07, they had to run the table to play for NC since they play in a crap conference. Oregon is a fringe top 20 team at best and Stanford and Oregon St are decent but nothing special teams which every conference has couple of 'em. pac-10 is not even a top-3 conference.

oh and no need to give Wisconsin false hopes by ranking them this week, they'll be out after the weekend anyways.

big 10 hasnt been disappointing; Iowa, Michigan and Wisconsin are exceeding expectations, Ohio St and Penn St are where they are suppose to be.
