Chris Douglas Roberts playing great so far, he's getting to the rim at will. With the way Simmons/Hayes/T.Williams are playing, we may have to start CDR at the 3 when lee comes back from injury.

Lopez looking good as well though I do wish he hit the boards more. Yi looks A LOT more confident out there. He's posting up and going to the rim aggresively.

Boone still sucks from the charity stripe. Alston is passing the ball really well but no of his recipients can finish the play.

Gallinari's passing looks splendid. He's had 3 beautiful passes today. His shot on the other hand was bad. He air balled twice from three point land.

Come on Nets. You're only on your first page? Knicks board has 49 pages already. No disrespect because I'd like a Knicks-Nets rivalry, it's healthy for the area, but you guys need more fans.

really impressed by CDR

i think eventually as ive been saying all off-season hes going to end up being the starting 3 man, honestly

harris - lee - cdr would be the quickest 1-2-3 lineup in the league

other notes:
lopez looked great but was forcing up some tough shots
twill was forcing as well, he was missing inside, but it seemed like we didn't care too much

team defense against the 3 ball was bad and we didn't rotate quickly, so that was disapointing.

All that talk about improved perimeter defense and that was our biggest weakness today. CDR looked great and Brook played well offensively too. It's like night and day for Yi out there. He looks FAR more confident than he did last season. Twill plays hard but was definitely rushing out there. Overall offense looked good defense looked bad.

Yi is trash honestly, this dude has been in the league for enough years to get his f**king **** straight

get him off this damn team, im serious i just do not like him , do not like the effort he puts in out there

id rather have a knuckle head like sean williams getting minutes over him.

He's entering his 3rd season... How is that "enough years to get his act together"?? The fact that you're complaining about his hustles proves you didn't even see todays game. He was the most agressive I've ever seen him. He posted up most of the times he got the ball.

um i did watch, and just because he hustled MORE than he usually does isn't saying much, theres hungrier players out there. + that "hustle" and "posting up" didn't produce anything.

The game is on replay like 3 times tonight on MSG if anyone missed it and wants to see it.

I hate it when we lose to the Knicks. I dont care if it is preseason.

Frank once again shows he is not at D'Antoni's level. What is the difference in Gallanari's game and Yi's?

Gallanari might have a better handle and maybe passing ability, but their games seem similar. Why does D'Antoni know how to use his player and Frank has no clue. Why isnt Yi picking and rolling too? He can pop or roll.

Yi is going to be good with a better coach.

Frank and his Defensive Bull$hit. They were better off playing more Offense. Atleast they would have had an idea how to play with each other. Yeah it is nice to work on Defense, but FRANK always says that and the TEAM continues to SUCK at it. Why doesnt he pressure D with the starters or Second unit but does it with the scrubs?

DEAR THORN, how much longer are we going to have to deal with this FRANK BULL$HIT?!?!?!?!?!?!

I didnt ask who is better. Gal might be better but their game is similar. They are both Dirk type players - 6-10+ PF guys that can shoot the ball.

Hypothetical Question: How would Yi do in a D'Antoni's system?

We shouldn't get angry though, it was preseason, our main guys only played 22-25 minutes, AND Courtney, Keyon, didn't even play. So don't make it something it's not guys, the defense did bother me though, I hope we pick it up.

alright well the difference is gallinari is a more all-around player that can play some point-forward while Yi is only a scorer, and Gallinari is more of a SF than a PF.
